Oh my gosh!!! THANK YOU 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏 THANK YOU!! My mother used to make these for our Christmas gathering when I was a child and for the life of me I never knew the name of them nor the recipe. She passed when I was a younger. Thank you so much for bringing back my childhood memories that I shared with my Mom. I can’t wait to make these with my daughters and granddaughters. Hug hugs from my house to yours 🤗
Beautiful memory! 🙏🏻❤️
Happy Holidays!
The comments are one of the reasons I love this channel. I adore comments like these, especially since I lost my mother 13 years ago. Thanks for the wholesome comment :)
Very similar recipe to the one my mom used to make (she is from Potenza, Italy) and 97 years old. She dipped them in warmed honey and we called them honey cookies!!
great video! We call those "chiacchiere", made especially for carnival, but I would eat them all year round! 😋 Yours look extremely delicious
In calabria we call them crostoli. Che Bellezza!
Vince' chiacchiere, crostoli, frappe, whatever we wanna call them but not a Xmas cookie, we make them in Carnival time 😉
As a Polish American, this makes me happy!!
This remembers me my childhood in France. In the department of Haute-Savoie and I guess Savoy too (both bordering Italy) they called this pastry 'bugne'. You can purchase it at the baker's on Hash Wednesdays only. Thank you for remembering me the bonds between Nations. Long live the good food and its good mood
This man is a national treasure! Thank you for all the amazing food you make chef
I just smile the whole way through each and every video. Pasquale, you are a gem! I would love to come to Christmas Eve dinner at your house! Seven fishes dinner, made by you, must be fantastic! Bona Natalie to you and yours!
Dobry wieczor Pasquale. You should have had Mrs. Orsara make them with you. We all know they are called Chrusciki. I miss my Babci so much, she taught me how to make them when I was younger. Wesolych Swiat !!!!
My Polish Grandma made these, but a whole lot more, as well as her Babka...when I make these I add some cardamom and they taste just like hers! Excellent memories...I think I have added rum or brandy instead of the vodka...Merry Christmas everybody!🎄🎄🎄☃️✝️
I am missing my father so much this season, I see my father in Chef Pasquale, though it brings tears to my eyes, having remembrances of how he talked and his mannerisms, just like you my precious, have fulfilled my Christmas wish this year. Jeremy, love your father, cherish him - fathers are precious and irreplaceable - Merry Christmas to you and your family, wishing many blessings to you all.. ps give Chef Pasquale and huge Christmas hug for me and, of course, a kiss on the cheek!! It's Italian...
Thank you so much for this receipe. My Mom used to make these every Christmas. I could never find her receipe and she left this world years ago. I wish I had paid attention to this traditional receipe but now I have yours. Thank you again.
I pray you and your family are doing well! Thank you for all of the really special recipes you've shared with us and THANK YOU even more for letting us spend time with you! God bless you!
Pasquale's kitchen is so well appointed and laid-out and cheery with personality, I love it.
These were a special treat when I was growing up and a little kid my next door neighbor made the most perfect ones I ever tasted.
I am so glad you are still making these videos. When I don't see you for a while, I worry something has happened. Ciao. Take care. Stay healthy and safe.
Your recipes have helped this Haitian lady make her Italian man very happy! 🙌😀💛
Thanks a lot dear Chef Pasquale for this delicious and beautiful recipe. Happy Holidays. 👍🏻😋❤️🌲🎅
I have this recipe from a Polish lady and they are SO delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipe. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year Pasquale. Stay well and safe.
May I ask, What's the recipe?
I have never heard of Christmas Angel Wings, must try. Blessed holidays and good health from a fan in South Jersey 👍🍽️
Its a Polish thing
They're everywhere, seems like they are just old world "elephant ears", or "elephant ears" are a derivative. I've not made either, but that's what they sound like to me. Prolly wrong! Let me know!
Such a sweet and gentle man. Thank you Pasquale 👼
I love this man!!!😊👍
Looks wonderful! Reminds me of a New Orleans beignet.❣️
Chef Pasquale is the BEST! Salute & Cin Cin! Buon Natale
I love this cute man! Nothing better than old school cooking! What a sweetheart!
Love these. We call them NOCCE MMMM
I I want to wish you a happy healthy New Year and thank you for all you have done for my family you are in the deepest part of my heart
This is my first time seeing one of your videos in about a year and I am so impressed. You guys have come a long way that is something to be proud of. I still love your videos and recipes so much
Love angel wings we grew up eating them. The best soooooo good yummy. Thank you for sharing have a blessed weekend stay safe and healthy. 🙏❤🙏❤
You really bring back so many memories of my Italian heritage and all the wonderful food we used to make and devour. All my family is sadly gone now and my modern age Vegan daughter doesn’t share my traditions or cuisine and so I cook and bake for me and try to share it with friends and Italian cousins. My Zia Louisa was known for her Angel wings and she gave me her recipe. These melt in your mouth desserts are so delish, I eat them like potato chips! I’ve subscribed to your channel but I wonder why I don’t see a recipe with the exact ingredients? Desserts especially need exact portions so it would be great to add a link with the recipe so I can print it out. Boun Natale! Grazia!
Thank you for the recipe! I'm retired now and I'm going back to baking. My first love in the kitchen. I make Italian bread, Bow-Knot cookies, and a few others, but I've never heard of these. They look so good! My cousin care over here from Morolo, Italy 20 years ago and I could not get her to write down any of our family recipes. So thank you too for your channel! My grand-daughter loves to watch your baking shows too. She watches them over and over again. Take care!
hope you enjoy these!

Thank you, such an easy perfect presentation, of course, delicious
Ohhhh…. These were my favorite when I was a kid. My little Italian granny would bring us some every time she went to the Italian village in Detroit. I’m going to try this with a GF flour.
So sweet!
I love there are so many delicious versions of this cookie from all over the world. A sweet reminder of our humanity and joy shared at this time of year.
Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas.
Aww, thank you! My Polish mother-in-law made these for Christmas and ever since I finished the last one I've wanted to make more. I have her recipe, but she's a busy woman; she doesn't have time to demonstrate, so thank you for your help 💛
Nice one brov, love to watch my paisan in the usa
We make these, but we call them Chrusciki in Polish. Love your method of making them. It is similar but not exact. Hugs from Esquimalt
Loved the video!!
Here in Portugal we call them ''coscorôins''. My mother, instead of using powdered sugar, she makes a syrup made of sugar and lemon.
Some use honey
MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone at OsaraRecipes!!!
Taste buds are triggered 😜 Angel wing's are like pieces of little funnel cake...so delicious, light and airy...I love it rolled thin and crisp 💕 melt in your mouth 👄 Delicious

Here in Brazil we called this recipe as "Mentira", the name translated to english means "lie". Don't ask me why they named like that, but is realy delicious!! But we don't use vodka, we use Cachaça, for the same purpose. Thanks Pasquale, have a great Christmas
Ok, what is Cachaca?
We used anisette
@@deee5520 a popular Brazilian distilled spirit
@@deee5520 It's a destilled drink, extrected from sugarcane

My mother used to make these, so good !
I love these! ❤️ My grandmother was Norwegian & she would make those, but she called them poor man's buckles!
🌲🤶Happy Holidays To You & your loved one's🤶🌲
Yummy
You made me smile. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at it. Delicious I'm sure.
Not the exact recipe but my family calls those Crustoli. We also dip them in warm honey after fried. We dip them both ways.
I'm gonna try to make these! I used to live in the French Quarter in New Orleans and loved to go to Cafe' du Monde for coffee and beignets. I've tried to make the beignets at home but they are not the same as Cafe' du Monde. Thanks for this recipe!
These are not at all like beignet. These are flakey and crispy. A beignet is soft and chewy inside like zeppoli.
@@deedebdoo Beignets at Cafe' du Monde are not chewy inside. They are light and fluffy and hollow. These are cookies...not doughnuts. But the concept of fried pastry / desert is always good.
I love chrusciki 😀
Thanks i like your food♥️ best chef
Same like Faworki from Poland !!! :)
👍 it looks great 👍
The wings look so good and delicious!
You know what’s up! That’s how my Nona dose it.
I remember having these when I was little. But for some reason I remember the taste of Sambuca.

Maronna mia grazie 💓
We're Croatian, and we call them kroštule. We make them a little different, but its the family's favorite.
Is it pronounced 'similar'to crystals?
@shermano2153
