Ever since hearing that Mr. Carson could not stand Bob Hope, I have been looking for signs in their appearances with each other. This one "speaks" volumes. LOL. Thanks for pointing it out. LOL.
Yes, that's what has been written about. I think that one thing to remember is that Hope came up through vaudeville and radio, where scripts were standard and relied upon for schtick. I suspect (don't know for sure) that early television was where improvisation in media presentations (except of course for music which happened earlier) got really going. In Hope's generation, improv talent wasn't required. By the time Johnny, and his generation came on the scene, it almost was required (at least to a greater degree than the old radio and vaudeville days.) Improv talent, of course, required being able to think on your feet, quickly. For talent that used scripts, memorization is the biggie.
I sure hope generations watch these and this is perfect time to show them during the coronavirus-19 is terrorizing our whole world. Thank you
❤❤❤
I adore the back and forth of Mr. I don't really want to be here and Mr. We don't really want you here.
3:11 the longest passive aggressive middle finger in recorded history.
