      It is you Nigerians against the political class. Until we fight back as in a unified people and in a concerted revolution devoid of ethnicity, religion, status, and class in a huge number, with the full knowledge that they have the power to put us down, the battle can not be won. That is the key to Dele Farotimi Sunday morning sermon. Even the rich are nolonger smiling because "olowo kan larin otosi 1000, babanla oloshi na louna". Lobatan.

It is unlike what Gani tried to do in his day. If Gani had moved from campus to campus educating the youth on their political rights, he would have had some disciples that would have continued with his ideology.

    Then we should Initiate Youth Action For Change from the North/South West/East. How do we achieve this ?
    By shutting down the system ?
    How do we factor in sustainability through this period ?
    By making sure NGO’s are funded to meet people at the point of needs.
    Our money, I mean the money of the poor contributed within a space of time can do it.
    Protection ?
    Then it become imperative that militant arm of this organisation is formed and trained to fight fist by fist and vice versa.
    It must be a fight guaranteed to succeed, therefore there must be a very successful database managed outside the nation to ensure that martyrs are compensated through their family as long as they live.

      Anyone who has a segregation mentality will always display it even in the tiniest circle. If Yorubas say an Igbo man cannot be president because of his tribe, the day Yorùbá nation separates from Nigeria, you will start hearing statement like An indigene of Ogbomoso must not be the president, it has to be from Ibadan. This is because at the moment, yorubas are the most tribalistic tribe in Nigeria because their kinsman is in power(the same thing Northerners did when Buhari was in office that plunged Nigeria into a deep mess). I also am a Yorùbá man.

    Nigeria is just a mere geographical location where people's of different nations are forced with guns to remain together. It was never created to go steady forward by British who cares about their own interest without minding the interest of those that made up the country Nigeria. Fulaniz being a minority that owned one of 3 large ethnicities the Hausa are choosen by British to be the manager of their company called Nigeria.
    Fulani Feudal system is completely opposite the democratic system of the Igbos and different from the mornach system of the Yorubas which is why we all don't agree on one straight way forward. Fulaniz feudal system doesn't support forwardness but prefer to keep far majority under abject poverty and illiteracy in order to easily control them while the Igbo democratical system is opposite to it.

    We had two civil wars in Ivory coast : 2002- 2005 and 2010-2011 basically it was muslim north led by Allassane Ouattara vs a part of the Christian South led by Laurent Gbagbo but contrary to Nigeria Nobody wanted to split , the north want to remain Ivorian and the south want to remain Ivorian . I Think as the country is smaller than Nigeria splitting our country is perceived being weaker or as diminishing our manhood . Son Our case is very different from Nigeria because we agree on two things : remaining united and supporting our national football team .We also come from different tribes but we are less obsessed by that . Gbagbo lost the war and he is living freely in Abidjan , his enemy Allassane is building a bridge which will be named after Gbagbo . So I do not understand Why Nigerian want to break their country and create 3 small tribal countries .

    CITIZENSHIP VERSUS FREEDOM?
    Good analogy that Nigeria operates a "feudal" system, but a very erroneous conclusion on how to fix the "very bad idea" anomaly. Dele Farotimi is wrong about the "idea" of first, "collectively," fighting for "citizenship" in order to be "collectively free" from the "very bad idea" that is "Nigeria."
    Are those operating the "feudal" system not "Nigerians? They have their "citizenship" how and where they wanted it, and still pushing to perfect it. So, the Farotimi's "collective" people's war has been, from the beginning, rendered null and void.
    "Biafra" will be "free" from the "bondage" of "Nigeria." Biafrans are not fighting to be "citizens." "Biāfrans" will not in the future fight to be "citizens" of "Nigeria."
    Biafrans are fighting to overthrow, to dismantle and to destroy an evil contraption, so as to be perpetually free from it. The destruction of the entity us the only way forward; the "Oduduwans" may wish to emulate the Biāfrān lead, or do so at a later date when they hunger to be free. There is no set rule that every slave must be mentally set free all at once.

That is the system still being used today in UK .The implementers need to do more.

    Mr. Farotimi has submitted that Nigeria is a bad idea. I concur. But, how is he also now saying that we should try to be citizens of that same bad idea? A bad idea should be abandoned. Then, a better idea should be sought for. I dont subscribe to any idea that is tribalistic in any way. Yiu can only be the victim of whatever you permit to maltreat you. I believe the bad idea called Nigeria should be abandoned.

    • @MegaTony1371
      @MegaTony1371 7 місяців тому

      So the way for us to abandon this idea is first to even assert your right to abandon this idea. At this point you have no right to leave! No right to abandon this idea!
      Only when you become a citizen can your voice be heard.
      So we need to unite first and have our votes (voices) counted (heard). Then we can break up.
      And I agree with him we have been trying to break out since independence without success as individual tribes. It hasn't worked. Maybe we try this approach of Dele

      @sirrainbow.
      U must be a proud wrongdoer to have issues with what Dele has shared..
      The preponderance of people who think like you is the reason Nigeria is struggling to make progress..
      Institutions are being corrupted in what was supposed to be a country where we are supposed to be citizens.. Feudalism used to be localised, it's now the new regime and you don't see something wrong?
      Na wa for you oo

      It's unfortunate! You don't understand his role in the society. His role is to awaken the dead collective consciousness. He's a genius.

    I love Nigeria so much but as a common man in the north what have I benefited from the riches and the oil in the south, nothing absolutely nothing, so it's no longer a northern or southern issue, Nigeria is not working to better the lives of anybody, May be is time for us to try something NEW...
