Nobody is dividing anybody in Nigeria. Rather, some people are forcing others into false unity. There is no way to bring people with diverse culture, language, religion, lack of trust and different value system to work together in harmony. Youths of the south east value western education, self reliance, live and let live. Youths of the north value Islamic education, despise western education, prefer sharia system than liberal system, love fighting for Allah instead of Allah fighting for them. Having a monarchy system of leadership which they pledge their loyalty to. The west is divide by religion in two equal parts. They are seen by the east as betrayals. They are seen by the north as not being Islamic enough to do with. Infact, this unity that is being talked about, has never worked and still not working and will never work. If anyone is waiting for a time when these incompatible people will come together with one purpose, that person will have to wait for eternity.
Please comment on you claiming that SS is your tribe. Forcing them into a map. What do you call that?? Bullying?? Seems you don't want to be forced but want to force others. An igbo man is mot tribalistic. They are the ones being hated by other tribes especially the yorubas and northerners. The irony is that PO an igbo man is the only presidential candidate that really care for Nigerian no matter their tribe. The so called northern and yoruba elites headed by Thiefnubu do not care for their people. Since Thiefnubu forced himself on Nigerians, have you ever seen an igbo man come out on social media to cry and lament. The same yorubas and northerners are the ones crying and their people are in power. They will never learn. Their hatred for the igbos has beclouded their sense of reasoning.
What age is young. 30 is only young in Nigeria. You better protect your tribal land from other Nigerians wondering around. Tribalism can be good. It is not only bad side of it. You could say you wan to protect your land from a certain set of people but if those people aren't breaking the law in anyway what are you protecting from? I have experienced tribalism from Igbos first hand, in my place of worship, in my place of work and other spheres of my life. For example, if an Owerri man doesn't have a hand in the enthronement in the Oba of Lagos or the Emir of Kano, why should an Ogun State man become the Referee for the choice of the Governor of Rivers State ? .
