@@TheRealDayquan aye aye, its generally pretty cheap to fix a character, but if you're trying to change an age 60 mage to a fighter you should definitely reroll
imo the most helpful thing for me was to avoid the subreddits, before i bought the game i was nearly discouraged because I was reading them, glad I took the plunge tho, and thanks for the tip to use the official forums (im used to using the subreddits for games usually)
A pro-tip that I like to give out: do not go too far into a profession until you are certain you will not be rerolling your character. It is much harder to grind most professions than develop the action points aspect of your character. Regarding gear-fear, this is how I would look at it, when I first started. Say my gear set cost 5g. I would go out and kill some bandits or whatnot, come back with 10g. I've now covered the cost of that gear set and more, so losing it is a net-gain.
I wouldn't say you should join a guild but you ABSOLUTELY should play with a consistent group of people. Being solo is miserable if you are new, and even if you are an experienced player the scope of what is possible can be limited finding a guild of people that you have fun with is a good priority though and absolutely should be the go to also consider starting in a town with relatively lower population. The very high pop towns are pvp hot spots due to them being trade hubs, This is especially true for Fabernum, Morin Khur, and Meduli though meduli is the safer of the 3. low pop towns like mohki, bakti and vadda are safer options for newbros due to the population density. The jungle is a good place to base out of early in your mortal days as well for that same reason The new solder/hunting task system is a good reason to feel braver now too, as you keep your task progress even if you die
I still feel like joining a guild is the easiest way to do exactly that without running with people who might not have a lot of resources to kit out a newer player with throwaway gear. Most guilds are fairly consistent and if not then it’s nothing to hop guilds.
@@TheRealDayquan I agree with you for sure. Some people don't want to go for a guild though, its best they at least play with others as the alternative of trying to make their way solo is not a fun time when new
I don’t think that the jungle is a good place for beginners, it will be some kind of ambush for beginners. The best place for beginners is Meduli. (Google translator)
Number 3 needs to be updated now that UE5 is out and brought tasks with it. Task rewards include clade XP and a lot of it, changing the idea that it's faster to level up clades in Haven.
been considering coming back to MO2 again.... Will fresh start on haven with the new updates... just kinda Meh over the Sub but, it is what it is.... Is haven still free? Thanks for the Video, and TIA for anwsers
Along with more character slots, a bloodline re-roll token would be a great additional revenue source for SV. I'd pay $5 to re-roll my bloodline a few times a year, probably.
If build guides that are 2 years old are outdated due to "meta", then any build done today can become obsolete at any point in the future. This isn't exactly incentive to play the game when you know that all the time and effort put into playing is going to eventually go out the window and force you to start back from the beginning all over again. Thanks for the vid, it was very informative, and now I know to pass on this game.
That's for mix max people. The game is still playable as long as you understand what is happening in the character creation and what kind of build you want to make.
my number 1 tip is stay away from this game you are being charged 50 dollars so you can be charged an additional 20 dollars membership to play that wouldn't be so bad if i didnt live in canada the ceo Henriq refuses to have server based in USA only European no matter your pc spec your game will freeze and lag sometimes for up to 70 seconds its unplayable at times its a full loot pvp game you freeze and when game catches up you are dead now i don't hate the game i think its one of the best experiences ive had in any video truly a master piece im just really sad about the game freezing other than that i have nothing negative to say about this amazing game and adventure
Age is adjustable using alchemy. Nymph herb and drakon can be used to adjust age after character creation. 😊
Pinned your comment. Thanks for correcting me!
It's not expensive either UNLESS you are trying to age change a pure mage at age 60ish but making a small mistake close to 30 is not a problem at all
@@im50yearsold Great info thanks for clarifying. I was under the conception that it was pretty pricey.

Very very good tips!! "Your gear is not yours, it's just your turn to use it" 😂👏👏👏
you forgot the 6th tip: quit your job and divorce your wife
🤣
If you add time stamps with the tips in the bio could be really helpful for people sharing this video etc. Cool video we need more stuff like this !
Thanks for the tip!

Great Info , new player guidance is one of the keypoints for the game
Agreed! Thank you 🙏

Reddit a sewer. Glad you nailed that at the end.

Ty for your content
You are very welcome! I’m glad it’s getting some use!
Eve Online players would easily adapt to MO2. The two games have many similarities.
I love EVE but spaceships all day is boring at some point lol.
This was great!
Glad you liked it!
✌
Is it still beneficial to lock Taming at 30 and Creature Control to 11 after recent updates?
Enclave cant maintain the order as they used to, alot of guild in that cualition has left, daumtles have their hands full
You can change your age there's a potion for it

thx for the tips

No problem. It isn’t for everyone.
Builds are adjusted over time. Plus 2 years ago the game was in beta

Being someone that murders outside of bakti and mohki. I wouldn't say it's a 'safe' area hahaha.
Video at 1.5 speed and you’re still speaking clearly lol. Did you slow it down or do you talk really slow?
@3:00 that's not even true anymore.
Since there are now two character slots.
You can have a gatherer, and a crafter.
I think these types of videos should be shorter tho to help it reach bigger audiences and help with the algorithm. A lot of good info tho still

Game is a walking Sim and so boring to just fight in a graveyard 😴
and combat is sooo lame ....
The only real tip Before You Play Mortal Online 2 is "dont play this game!" (I spent more than 3k hours)
Tip 1: DONT PLAY THIS GAME
