Molesworth Yarra Roar 2018

A short two day fly camping hunting expedition on the Molesworth Station, Public Conservation Land in Marlborough NZ; covering a fair bit of country on foot with two apprentice hunters.

Great footage,thanks for sharing.It’s fantastic to see the next generation out hunting and learning from more experienced hunters.My 11 year old daughter is also very passionate about hunting and the outdoors.She just received her first centre fire this week(7mm-08), and she is looking forward to sighting it in. Like everyone else is saying, so good to see you taking the kids out and exposing them to our wonderful backcountry and give them a vested interest in it as future voters and taxpayers. As a teenager in the late 70s there were very few animals out in the open due to the intense helicopter hunting so it's great that the kids are able to experience the thrill of seeing an animal from a long way off and the anticipation that comes from the stalk into it.

It was good little short trip and both the kids took home a trophy although somehow we missed getting footage of Kruger's stag. Goes to show there's still a few deer around in the Molesworth this year.

Any of the lower Acheron blocks from the Guide Rvr down stream, and down the Clarence has pigs.
Above Severn and Upper Clarence not so much. Good luck.
