Can you drop a flying tutorial? New player and I just picked this game up a couple days ago. Every single aerial vehicle I’ve piloted ended up with me dying in a fiery crash or bailing out at the last second. I’m console btw
try practicing in your own lobby first. feel free to mess around with the vehicle control in the settings. im a bf4 player so i had to change the settings a bit so i can play attack heli
Tip for keyboard- use "A D" keys to roll left/right. Space for pitch Up and CTRL for down for large movements. With the mouse make it so its pitch up and down and yaw left right for fine tuning for engaging. Very useful for flying helis and jets (there's a very slight noticeable input delay/lag when switching from space/ctrl to mouse inputs that can go away with practice)
Firstly make sure you use 25mm and not 30mm. Other than that it pretty much just comes down to practice. I'd recommend watching a video from Silk about settings and controls and just copying that. If you did that you should be good to go. Just takes practice. I personally pretty much use the same settings as Silk but i have different controls.
This is mad sus tbh, your target acquisition at 4:13 and throughout the video is inhuman, You actually look at this guy through the sand dune, thinking he's visible on the side you were looking, then elevate, having NO IDEA HE'S THERE. Most times you zoom on objectives and hotspots, but there you had ZERO reason to look at that guy through the dune. Either you are the most situationally aware pilot in BF our you're using ESP. Either way this is insane.
That time stamp you gave can look sus when you don't look at what happened before. At 3:50 a condor flew by and some players jumped out over the exact dune that i'm gonna strafe half a minute later. And even if that didn't happen it wouldn't necessarily be sus. As an experienced pilot you'll know where to look for targets. That specific dune used to be a hotspot and often times there were loads of players there. But i generally wouldn't have strafed that dune if i didn't see players jump out of the condor since my team captured the flags around. I initially didn't have the right angle to see both sides of the dune, so i just adjusted it^^ But thanks for pointing that out, was interesting to analyze myself :P

I must be the only one who thinks this clip is rubbish; flying around in a jet shooting at infantry instead of concentrating on taking down other aircraft. Shooting infantry is the job of gunships
As an infantry only player and terrible pilot, this is very satisfying to watch.

Even worse when you've been dogfighting for like 2 minutes, you're about to get the kill and they bail. What a waste of time.
I only do it if you third party me while im in a df lol
I play on PC and stay away from piloting planes if I can. Don't know why but the controls are worse on PC/Mouse & Keyboard
