We didn't play on the record, we were the session musicians hired to re-record the song for the BBC TV performance. George the singer commented that they spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to record the song with LA session musicians, and how we had laid the track down in one take, and were now sitting in the pub drinking Guinness all day. We told him that for future recordings he should call us Brits and save some money ! hahaha!

I somehow almost nearly felt this feeling again upon hearing Keep Me Entertained by Mattie Maguire, who I knew felt an intense connection to this song and the feelings it conveys. I just want to spread the love and hope the algorithm can give us more of this.

After hearing it again used in a retro 80's Canadian TV comedy, I fell into a musical rabbit hole searching the song and others of that vintage and beyond. I'm still falling, ... two years later.
