- Which 5th job skills do I max first in maplestory? Which nodes do I prioritize? I've been asked these questions countless amount of times about nodes, 5th job skills, and the v-matrix, so time to address them. You can categorize all the nodes and 5th job skills into these essential categories: decent skills, boss story nodes (will's true arachnid reflection and seren's solar crest), skill boost nodes, race and branch skills, and class nodes. Please note that these are not absolute and there can be minor changes from class to class, but this video should give you a good guideline about nodes.

While you obviously want to keep your mobbing and bossing nodes separate it's not the end of the world if you end up mixing and matching them in the beginning. Perfect trinodes aren't easy to come by so if you have to use ones where you have say 2 mobbing skils + 1 bossing skill you shouldn't throw it away. You can level it up like normal and then just use it as fodder once you do find the perfect one and transfer over all the exp it has gained.

have a bunch of exp nodestones from events that i can level true arachnid from 1 to max. should i do it? is it that good of a skill? or should i use it on my boost nodes? im a 241 i/l mage that has no trouble bossing or mobbing.
Depends, can you/do you have the money to buy regular nodes to level your regular nodes to max? If not and you a broke boi, you might need to use your exp nodes for those MAIN skills, since those are way more important. But if you are rich enough to buy regular nodes to level those, then it's better to use it on Arachnid.
