I learned how to solve the rubix cube around 3 weeks ago. I can get around 1:15 and my best is like 45 seconds. I recently learned one of my friends can solve it in like 20 seconds. He let me use them but when I did they felt too high quality for me. I felt like too much of a noob to use them.

You could try drilling algorithms without looking at the cube and only look when you finish to make sure you did it right or need to fix it.
