Thanks, I have been using parallel space but didn't realise there was a private space too. With both of those plus an Android work profile, there are certainly a lot of options!

What would prefer, this phone or the oneplus open, if you were not bothered about software? Cannot make my mind up which one to go for, camera seems abit better on opo, but then the honor looks better and is better designed.also the opo seems to have fragile screen and poor customer service.
I've had several experiences with Huawei and Honor phones over the years, so I'm quite familiar with most of these features. Nonetheless, I've been binge-watching your V2 reviews and have learned a lot. For someone who uses a phone for teaching, I'm excited to receive my V2 and be able to fully utilise it as a mini tablet in class. Is the V2 compatible to use with a stylus, though? It'd be very helpful to mark papers.

Hello. I’m an iOS convert, gotten this less than a month ago. This was useful, thank you. Can you say is it any good to use the screen guard? Mine came with it although I saw a few scratches very early on. The default files open in WPS office. Is there a better alternative?
The inner screen definitely needs the screen protector, on the outer screen it's user preference if you want to keep it or not. I tend to always use screen protectors in my phones (better safe than sorry) 😉
I use Microsoft Office as an alternative.

Nope. Still not possible, unfortunately.
Some apps don't rotate when the screen is opened. In galaxy z fold 3 there was an option to force any given app to rotate. Is there such an option on Magic v2?
Good question, I'm not aware of this feature on the Magic V2. However, some apps simply aren't designed for landscape mode, like Reddit, for example.
@@JMTMarc Thanks for the answer. Yes that is right, some apps aren't designed for it. But as I'm using my phone a lot on a dock while working, and it has to fixed sideways. It is a must feature for me. There is some apps that would emulate some kind of rotation, but they require the phone to be rooted, and I'm not comfortable with that so.. Have to look into it some more!
Okay, I get it! I just checked and there is no such setting on the Honor Magic V2, unfortunately.

No, it doesn't. It doesn't have a charging coil, so both wireless and reverse wireless charging will not work.

Even for wired reverse charging it would need a charging coil, which it doesn't have.
@@JMTMarc We talk past each other. I meant that the Magic V2 can also be used like a battery bank, via wired charging.

Nope! Don't have the stylus.
What's the difference between parallel space and private space?
Parallel space runs in parallel to the normal OS and can be used to run two instances of one app with two different accounts for example. It can also be used to store sensitive documents away from the standard system apps. Private space is a completely separate instance of the OS with separate user credentials, PINs, passwords etc. This is more about privacy.

sadly something which drove me mad with the device was that certain apps wouldn't be forced to horizontal for multitasking. I wanted to run two instances of old school RuneScape more than anything and it was no good when I had to stack them next to each other instead of on top of one another. it's a shame, this phone is so close to being capable with software but it just has these little issues blocking certain things for people like me.
It is close to perfect, but software limitations like the one you mentioned hold it back.
If that ever changes and perhaps they enable all apps to be forced to horizontal splitscreen, id be right back!

There is a problem that I hope you can participate in finding solutions to. I own Magic V2, the Chinese version. Did you notice that it is not possible to activate any external launcher on the phone? Did you notice that? I tried to download the Nova launcher, but the phone does not accept any launcher. I ask you to try this problem, and if you have solutions for it, please respond to my message.
