Not gonna lie, Goten and Trunks going all out, and participating in the Tournament of Power would've been dope. More powerful than the likes of Tien and Master Roshi, by far, easily could've replaced them on the roster. Maybe even use Patora, so we get a new fusion's mindset on battle, compared to Gotenks
that last transformation was so damn hype, I think it would've been so much cooler than the actual canon, the whole scenario feels so high stakes especially with how insanely powerful cell would be, and imagine if they animated it in a way that shows how their bodies are almost phasing in and out of each other right after an epic transformation scene, kinda like a weird optical illusion, really making it evident that they have only a small moment to land that final blow
Loving the Trunks and Goten Love they should be the Next Generation Protector cause Gohan a Scholar and Piccolo is training Pan also we seen them as the Next Saiyamen aka X1 & X2
I’ve thought about the next generation taking the lead for some time. Having characters like Goten, Trunks, Pan, Uub, and Marron being the new cast, but still sometimes including older characters like Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the older generation from time to time

A Goten and Trunks who consistently train AND get divine ki AND get multiple SSB forms AND can mix all of said forms with kkx20 AND get the ultra forms? No more story after the Goku Black Arc outside of Moro. • WHEN they catch up to Goku and Vegeta, they should absolutely take off in terms of power and never get caught up to ever again. • Gotenks would clap Merged Zamasu. • Jiren and Broly get solo'ed. • Granolah makes a different wish or he dies. • Gas never gets the wish. Either that, or he dies. • Either Black Frieza stays in the Time Chamber for longer than in canon or he dies.
Yeah I agree that it makes the stakes far less than what they originally were. I also think that them knowing the fusion dance also contributes to that.
I have to ask. Why include Blue Evolution? They have SSJ Blue 2 and 3, unless I'm missing something. Also, ever thought about optimizing Gohan and Piccolo like having them achieve as much as they could've early on?
So SSBE from what I’ve learned is actually really strong. SSB2 at most would be a 2x mutipler to base SSB and SSB3 at most would be a 4x multipler to base SSB. There isn’t anything that could’ve stopped Goku and Vegeta from tapping into these forms it’s just that Blue kaiokenx20 and Blue Evolution give a way higher boost to base Blue than SSB2 and 3. Also Blue Evolution seems to be a perfected version of Blue. Whereas Blue 2 and 3 would have some strain to them as they are just mixing the old super saiyan forms with god Ki. Super saiyan blue evolution on the other hand from the looks of it doesn’t do that, although it does resemble super Vegeta. As for Gohan and Piccolo I’m thinking about it, especially seeing as strong they got in a short amount of time
