Another wonderful piano tutorial. I have been spending every free minute watching your tutorials. The best part is that you put the notes and chords on the screen. Also, you explain which finger to use and the timing. Then you also explain how the lyrics coincide with the melody and chords. Outstanding
Finally, I found someone who approaches piano the same exact way that I do. I come from a 50+ year history of guitar playing, using chord shapes, voice leading, passing chords, etc. I am almost unable to sight read...OK on the treble clef, stupid on the bass clef, very frustrating. BUT this works! I tried to explain this to a traditional piano teacher, but she just looked at me with great pity....Anyway, I subscribed - Good luck to you, keep 'em coming.
Thanks Nate! You are the best! I'm 61. The Beatles (1963-1970), Uriah Heep (Ken Hensley years 1970-1977), ABBA (1975-1981), etc... - I have listened to this music all my life
Crisp, clear instruciton. Great visuals. A pleasure to hear you perform one of McCartney's underrated gems. All that went into pulling this all together is not lost on me. Thanks so much.
Absolutely fantastic, Nate! You make it so easy to understand, and all I need to do is to practice, practice, and practice! And practice makes fun, when I know I'm working on the correct chords, bass, and melodic lines. Do you have any Gilbert O'Sullivan tunes in store? I believe his songs can be sung with a very limited vocal range.
I love your Beatles tutorials. So many I can think of that would make great tutorials. I love the way Paul McCartney plays on The Long and Winding Road
@@PianowithNate That's wonderful. I have ever CD. I know the name of all 250+ songs. I may be a Beatles nut. Their song composition is bar none. I don't think anyone has every came along that could match their genius in composing melody, lyrics. Basically unique song structures, and chords.
Excellent tutorial! Your explanation makes it much easier to understand what is happening in the song and to play it! Thank you so much! Can I ask or make suggestions for some songs? Fiona Apple - Shadowboxer, Billie Eillish - My Future and Tears For Fears - Head Over Hills. Would love to learn those!
i love and im always looking forward to your videos! if you mind, can i make a small suggestion, can u make a piano accompaniment of john legend's all of me? I've been trying to learn it from other videos but it seems like i have adapted to your style haha, thankyou!
Very weird song . McCartney really did possess an uncanny range . All the way from simple ( Yesterday ,) to more complex ( Fixing a Hole ) , Lady Madonna , My Love ....the list just goes on and on. Inexplicable in many ways . Irving Berlin ( everyone says Who ? ) probably wrote more and of equal variety but it's close...!

You’re a GREAT teacher dude! Like one with way more experience than your age. Thanks for these aids. Wish we had this back in the day.
Thank you so much!!
Great ear! I would have missed all of the cool inversions!
Gonna sing this song for my mother's 90th birthday coming up this month 😊🎤🎹🎼🎶🎵🎶🎂❤️

Cheers! I does seem that people who are guitar players first find the chord based approach on piano more intuitive

Awesome! 🎹
You are a good teacher. I’m a big Beatles fan and your videos are easy to understand
So glad to hear it!
Thanks Nate, you have some really great tutorials ! ❤️🧡 For some reason I've always found this song to be quite haunting, especially the instrumental.
Interesting! I can see that. The instrumental is definitely pretty "dark" harmonically

Thanks for all the kind words!

Yay, so glad you're getting value from these videos! I actually am not familiar with Gilbert O' Sullivan...checking him out now!
I learned to play the whole thing, my first song :) thanks for a great tutorial.
This is a really fantastic lesson!!
