The way all of you break down - into manageable “chunks” - each personal experience you’ve had with splitting is wonderful. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing and explaining. I know you will reach the hearts of so many. ❤
Splitting on people is common for me. When I first meet a new friend I tend to idealise, put them on a pedestal and later when I see flaws, I want to block them! Now, am cautious. When I meet new people, I go slow and tell myself' I don't know a lot about this person yet and they haven't shown me their whole character yet'. So, there is no need to idealise and then suffer later.
I struggle with support system so it's so hard when I try to fact check or try to vent or reach out my "people" tend to disengage due to my intensity, personalize my feelings and it ends up causing lots of fights. I also experience expecting others to be sensitive and then getting upset that they didn't remember that I get triggered in those ways.
