Custom Jason Voorhees Figure, DIY Savini Jason Makeover

- Jason Voorhees is one of my favorite horror slashers. I was suggested by someone to make a Custom Jason Voorhees figure, and they wanted to see Savini Jason, as seen in the Friday the 13th video game. This Jason Voorhees is burnt and on fire and just looks pretty wild, I thought it would be a great project to tackle and even better since it is Friday the 13th.
Savini Jason is one of the variations of Jason Voorhees, and one of the two variants that weren't based upon any of the films; the other skin being the [[Retro Jason]] . This skin was based off of visual makeup artist Tom Savini. Savini is primarily known for his groundbreaking work in the field of special make-up effects, also known as prosthetic makeup. His signature style and techniques bring vivid realism to genre films.

Looks good! How could you NOT know who Tom Savini is??!! He's responsible for the creation of Jason in the first movie!! It was his idea to make him the mongoloid we all know and love!! :-)

How could you not know jason appeared in the second Friday the 13th and Stan Winston created the original jason!? Tom Savini created part 4
@@GodWeenSatan Jason is a mongoloid child in the first movie and his look and effects were created by Tom Savini!! On top of that, Tom Savini is also the "hands" of Mrs Voorhees when her head gets chopped off. Stan Winston didn't work on Friday the 13th. I believe he did some uncredited work on parts 2 and 3?!

Is it possible to switch the rubbery shirts on the part 3 and 6 Jason figures?
Great question. With this shirt it was somewhat attached to the body of the figure, so I wouldn't be able to remove it clean

@@RussLyman No, just disregard that comment. I was thinking they replicated all the damage in the Savini Jason from the New Blood Jason (because that's what would logically have happened), so that it would have been little more than changing the coloration, adding the spikes and changing out the head sculpt, but it turns out Savini Jason's clothes aren't nearly as torn up as those of New Blood Jason, and neither is his flesh.
