At 6:02 91/13=7 not 6
Also note that at 6:18 y=x/2-z/3+2 is a plane, not a line
correct
is it different formula between the point and the plane?
the video title says 3d too
Wish my high school classes were just in an isolated room watching these videos in peace and quiet, and then coming to the teacher for 5 m for remaining questions at the end of the day. I can do math like this but not when there are so many noises around. Thanks for these vids, this makes me rediscover math in a fun way.
|6-18+8+12| = 8 -> the answer for number 3 is 8/7
Yes.
Aah so i did it in another way n i was ryt, thought i was wrong tnx
-8/7
I was just wondering how he got this answer!? Thank y'all for commenting on the error!
yep
thanks bro you helped me alot i can't express my feeling.
Best teacher on the planet
10:01 There was a mistake. Negative 18 plus 8 gives Negative 10 (-18 + 8 = - 10). So the final answer is supposed to be 2.
P.S: I love your teaching.
The answer should be 8/7
sorry but that would mean its 16. because 6 - 10 + 12, 6 - 10 is 4 plus 12 is 16. the real answer is 8
firstly credit to the Tutor , credit for identifying the mistake , But the aim and key objective is how to solve such problems using the concept at your own level not the accuracy or correctness of the answer ,,,,,,Personally answer is never my concern but how to arrive to it the key. Thanks guys i apologise incase my statement goes against any one .
This video is the first time I've seen TOCT use a pink colour in, must be a special one.
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for the examples that shows How to Find the Distance Between a Point and a Line in 2D and 3D Geometry. The last two examples contain math errors that was corrected in the comment section.
6:02 hmm.. I think you were mistaken?😁 It must be 7, right? Anyway, the video is great. Thanks.
I was just planning on asking whether you had coordinate geometry and mathematical induction..Thanks.
people who have doubts can never miss this channel , they will somehow get to know
thank you chem man you saved me for 1 calc bc problem that i had no idea how to do and idk why i need to know this equation for it but thanks
I will just say... I can't thank you enough.
10:04 shouldnt it be 6-10+12? cuz idk how -18+8 is +10 it should be -10?
Thank you 💗
Thanks for the tutorial! Nice explanation.
but we understand man thanks for the help do
perfectly explained
91/13 is 7
I have a question: In exercises in which the distance is given when graphing the line I'm having trouble figuring out the relative position of that line when I only have it's general equation.
Since I don't know where exactly the line should be I don't know which one of the two values is the right one.
Remember to use absolute value thus answer should always be positive
Should I rationalize the root if the radical is irrational (because on the examples, the roots are equal to whole number, while mine are decimals)
Point of correction The Organic Chemistry tutor while solving the second example of this video, 91/13=7 units not 6 units.Otherwise i enjoyed the video.Thank you.
#2 d=7
#3 D=8/7
Although i think #3 is wrong and the formula to get the distance for that number is different, since its a plane.
He made what my maths teacher calls a simple costly mistake
I wish you explained how we got to this formula!
Hey, quick correction -18+8= -10 not +10 so the final answer changes. Otherwise, great explanation!
no idiot it is still positive even if it is negative because of the absolute value.
The final answer is 8/7 not 28/7.
@@scienceseeker8377 the final answer changes....
@@scienceseeker8377 You only take abs after you calculated everything inside. You can look at it this way, |(x+y+z)| then you calculate x+y+z and then take the abs value on the result
ধন্যবাদ
What is the name of the program you use to make such video?
thanks
Find distance if points are 0,0 and line is 4x +3y=0 . whatvshould we use for c , should we put 1 in place of c or zero?
Point of correction on the 3rd example too.
I like your videos_ they are awesome but in this video there is a mistake or error : 6 -18+8+12 = 6+8+12-18 = 26 - 18 = 8
In number 3. 91/16 is equal to 7?
it is, calculator says so
-18+8=-10....
I saw that 10:01
In 3D, the line is a plane isn't it? The graph equation in question 3 looks like a plane to me, not a 3D line. Confused me a bit.
Question number 2 is not correct on the division 91/13 = 7 not 6
in the third exercise, i do not think that it is an equation of a line. lines in 3d can only be determined through parametric equation. what you have there is an equation of a plane
Thank you daddy
5:58 91/13=7 not 6
Sir please teach matrix
no u
How can I add distance to the point. I mean how can add distance 2 to the point 4,5 ?
Mrr.. get your proper vision!!!
(7:42) that's actually the equation of plane in 3D :>
How can I find the distance between line and point in polar coordinate
does anyone know where i can find proof for the formula he used at the end in 3d
Can someone please explain me why he have to multiply it to negative one?
In 4:11 minutes of the video
Christian Paul Ignacio to make everything positive, to make it easier
91÷13=7
Wasn't that just explaining the distance between a point and a *plane* not a point to a line?
Exactly my doubt- in 3D geometry ax+by+cz+d=0 is the form of a plane and not a line. A line doesn't have another attached constant...
So is the formula for #3 wrong?
What does the symbol of absolute |x| value represent in an expression?
idk but x gon give it to ya 4 sure
The answer of question 2 is 7 and not six as stated in the video
The answer in #3 is wrong it's 8/7
13*7 is 91
the second question the answer is 7 not 6 and for the last question its 8/7 not 4.....a common error when you don't use a calculator that's why i sworn to my calculator to never think im smatter then it
but ax+by+cz+d=0 is eqn of plane not a line😠😠
what -18 + 8 is not 10 it is -10 bro you got me good
the equation has absolute value which all the variable or element or constant that is negative inside it should be turn to positive hehe
the resulting sum or product is positive but the operation contained within is performed as per usual, if you have negative numbers within the absolute value you don't change them, you add, subtract multiply or divide normally, only the result must be positive otherwise everything else is fair game.
Ok so he made a huge error as everyone is talking about in the comments. The answer is 8/7 (8/√49).
Is that just the answer though? He doesn't explain why this works in a 3D space, not that he's supposed to (he's tutoring, technically).
Either the answer was supposed to be 4 in the end, and he made a mistake with the signs, or he happened to get a nice 4, when it should've been a fraction.
Hello The Organic Chemistry tutor you've done a mistake 91/13 equals 7 not 6
91/13 is 7
6:00 answer is rather 7 and not 6.
you got 91/13 =6 wrong its 7
The answer for number is 7 not 6
Hey....your question 2 is wrong, the answer is meant to be 7m
If a mistake is made by organic chemistry tutor and it is pointed out, there is never an acknowledgement followed by correction by organic chemistry and it is so frustrating and makes one wary of buying membership to organic chemistry tutor.
6:15 hi mr TOCT i wanted to tell you that in 6:15 you got the wrong answer its actually 7 i tested it in my calculator i just wanted to let you know no shame in making mistakes
at 10:00 : --> -18 + 8 = -10 not +10
Wrong addition of absolute value of equation
I was disappointed at how there si no explanation for the point line distance formula.
answer to 2 is 7,not 6
The last example is wrong. -18+8= -10 but your answer is 10
you did it wrong, its supposed to be -10 in 10:14
In 3D example that's not a line, that's a plane 😐
This the reason why i hate math
|6-18+8+12|=8 and not 28 as per your video calculation. It's supposed to be 8/7=1.142857143 or 1.143 units.Great video though.
Not to offend but in 3d u found distance between plane and point
You taught well... but because I believe differentiating between a line and a plane in 3D is such a crucial concept to understand (in which it appears you don't), I thumbs downed.
In time 6:15 =7
2nd question 91 divided by 13 should be 7 just postin' not that anybody care lol
Where is the dervation? Americans memorize maths?
Yur r discussing the distance between a point nd a plane.. Its not a line just change yur title dude
This is completely wrong. Wrong formula with 3D.. I hope nobody uses this tutorial. Stay away
Those of you who r here to correct the silly mistakes made by organic chemistry tutor -SHAME ON YOU
Thumps up to you hey
although he mixed up equations of plane and a line which could possibly cause alot of problems other wise its a great video dont get me wrong , but i gotta dislike to get that sweet sweet 69 dislikes , it must be done.
Thats a point and a plane mate.. If you dont know what you are talking about, dont do these kind of videos
You just need to appreciate something sometimes because not all opportunities like these come everyday .what's up with your foolish comment
Nope, that was point line. If you check you get the same results
4:19 wouldn’t you also switch the zero to twelve here? Because don’t you have to do to both sides what you do to one? Idk just wondering?
