- All over the local news ,Burnley express, Lancashire evening Telegraph, Lancashire live they have been all over a disturbance around duke bar. I had a little look to see how far the disturbance was from the area where the burnley riots started 20 years ago. There has been a lot of drink in those 20 years so take my memory of events with a pinch of salt. Oh and after yesterdays video we find the new Burnley Ambulance Station :-)
I was born on Ennismore Street. My mum always says how duke bar used to be a lovely area.
Used to play football on the park across the road 👍

@@brandondonnelly2105 I think I remember all the roads around there being cobbled until into the 80's. Now they are full of huge pot holes.

Has it changed much, has it f**************
There's interesting articles online about the rapes and grooming going back to the 80s and how the locals became increasingly unhappy after the authorities refused to act, same across the whole of the UK it seems. Subsequent to the unhappy residents they elected several BNP councillors and when the grooming continued it brought tensions to boiling point then the stabbing sparked the riots.
stay out of trouble lad.
posh but got go blackburn when shot lol
Cant beat a good old fashioned riot
