Nice info, see ya on the water!
Yes we have been dying to get offshore hopefully the weather clears up soon. Great report.
Hey, I'm thinking about chartering a trip in a few weeks and am wondering if Inshore or offshore is a better bet in august around St. Agustine
Hi! It depends what you're looking to catch. The only thing really going on inshore is flounder. The redfish bite doesn't really pick up until late fall into winter per our Captains up there. Offshore is producing a great snapper bite right now both mangrove and muttons so if you want to go offshore and get good eating fish. That'll be your best bet. Tight lines!
@@CaptainRickMurphy Thanks for the advice Cap. Do people do any micro jigging/slow pitch in the St. Augustine area? Was thinking about bringing some stuff to try out, looked at some charts and was shocked at the depths under 10 miles from shore, was thinking it would get to 100' at 5 miles but only 60-70. Is slow pitch/micro jigging worth it? Would it catch some Bonita or anything?
Hey I have a place in st Augustine I fish a lot I’m about to be 15 but I haven’t been able to find any reds the past week do you have any advice for this time right now or what to throw?
Try DOA soft plastics.
