TORO cordless products = garbage. My 88542 PowerPlex Charger died, a few months after warranty (convenient). Last year, an 88508 48V battery for weed trimmer died after 1 year. Both were used once per week in summer and fall, kept in a dry utility room, etc. etc. TORO is trading on the reputation they made years ago, which now no longer applies. Eg., we have a small TORO snow blower which is 30+ years old, still works great.

Can I leave the battery in the charger with the power turned on?
