hi John you encouraged the viewers to make some suggestions, so here they are: this quantity of humvees works better if you micromanage them in at least two groups. if the pack is so huge and you designate a target, they all wanna kick its ass. They fire from max range, so they form a circular line around it. the bigger the pack, the more complete the circle of humvees, so even if you keep the lucky ones far enough from a bunker, the less lucky ones will find no better place to attack the target, and they will be destroyed by the very bunker you are trying to avoid if you are not in an extreme hurry (unlike here because of those evil evil bad nukes), it is wise to nearly kill some buildings, then kill them with an empty hummer. this way no greedy missile soldier steals the XP and the humvee can reach rank 2 quickly, becoming self repairing which can save a lot of pain during a long push when only travelling, it is OK to use big groups, in the fight however, I try to use no more than 4 hummers for each urgent kill I really hoped your happy little cars would not be napalm barbecued by MiGs in this one. it could have been very ugly very fast. for this reason, if I have to focus on something else other than the push, I always send my hummers for a little joyride into the empty territory (just for some seconds). If the MiGs hit while I am managing my base, my little cars will not stay in the flames happy gaming!

Hi John, I've watched a couple of your videos, and noticed you don't even use bunker buster bombs of the stealth fighters, although they're great against bunkers.
Okay so I have a challenge. I know it might be a while before you can do this but who cares :) With using shockwave, play with deathstrike against 2 hard special weapons china, without using any long range units (katyusha and the other artillery piece). Also, no super weapons :D I have no idea how to play with deathstrike so it would be great to see how you do this thing.
Nostradante It isn't that I'm not a fan. The real issue is that when I'm in the heat of battle, I have to really decide whether or not I can both fund the new construction and if I can defend it properly. If I don't think I can maintain momentum and defend a new base, I'll just destroy the enemy base so I'm not worrying about it.
+JohnMegacycle Ahhh, that makes sense. I brought it up because if the enemy is incapacitated, it costs nothing to capture (or you can sell their crap), and then use their units against them. But I understand, sometimes you wanna wipe them right out!

I have a few 1v7 videos on my channel. To be honest, I enjoy other games more than I do Generals and CNCHD is your guy if you want 1v7 action. I'm more of a 'have fun and enjoy the game' general and I am not MLG level. I just wanted to be honest, since there are lots of challenges already on my site that are ridiculously difficult.

i feel like it would have been a harder challenge if you were the superweapons general because their emp does nothing against infantry and the missiles damage is halved because of the emp so i just feel like it would have been a lo cooler of a challenge but still great video
That is true, but I didn't use a single Patriot Site, so my method could have been exactly the same with that general. Still, that would have been a tough one.
well i mean the laser patriot sire is the equivalent of the us missile patriot site but it is modified for the laser general so you did use a patriot site just not one that shoots missiles but on that map it is kinda easy to just camp until rank 3 then you win the game lol

yeah have you played the 4 player map called dogs of war it has the zero hour logo on it and every icon for each faction and its just really cool if you ask me
I didn't plan them into the initial cost for the attack, as the enemy doesn't build enough bunkers for it to be a real issue. If they had much more density, then absolutely, it would have been crucial to the attack plan. Still, that's an excellent observation.
JohnMegacycle Well you lost a lot of humvees every time you got closer to a single bunker, 3-4 avengers and you wouldn't loose any. Economy wise they are more expensive but the loss without them is much bigger. Anyway, I really like your vids :), ever thought of trying Shockwave mod for zero hour? I can guarantee you will love it :)

Absolutely true. To be honest, I rarely use the Stealth Fighter, so I rarely consider the upgrade.

Chris Kositzke I know that one. If memory serves, it is spread out like crazy, making it a real defensive challenge.
