The DJ championship sketch didn't air on Channel Ten in Australia either (at least not when it aired in 2002/2003). I distinctly remember it cutting to a break at 7:40 and returning with the mobile on the plane sketch. The pole dancing skit also had a different piece of music in the background (which I think sounded a lot better in the version I had watched).
When I bought and watched the Australian DVD I got to the end and thought 'I could swear there was a World DJ Champion sketch with an old skool DJ played by Mack..... sure of it...... ah I bet they removed it so they didn't have to pay copyrights for the music' ..... punches air, have now proven myself right
What i learnt? This show is a copy of the Camari Five (החמישיה הקמארית) a show from Israel. The Karen term started here because of Karen that did the Karen More from Israel the Oy Oy Oy. And the British love Israeli humor.
