You mentioned Lagrangian mechanics in a video recently, I haven't studied that stuff and am working on a few other projects at the moment, but curious on whether you think learning that stuff is useful at all or just a fun intellectual pursuit with no practical applicability.

Useful but Newtonian is broader and more direct in application. It's like quantum is interesting but less direct use and above my mental paygrade. :)
