Most are just simplify their experience to 'just good' or 'okay' without showing any explanation behind the claim. Seeing graphs of power, average fps and thermals really helps in making me understand on how a particular SoC behaves when its under load. Keep doing this tests. Would love to see more phones undergoing this form of stress test.

@@adelioskampos8090 Yes, the phone goes full performance and ignore the heat. The S21 Ultra with SD 888 is throttling to keep the phone cooler but the performance is inferior to Mi 11.
@@d.shadocx9277 yes its because Samsung underclocked the Snapdragon 888 just to not ridiculous their exynos chipset, that's why they the battery comparaison is almost the same this year between the two chipset, samsung still cheating with customers,
Please do a test on exynos 2100 with the fun cooler pro I'm pretty sure a lot of exynos user would like to see if they can eliminate that very fast throttling issue :)

Is it possible to use the cooler and a gamepad phone clip ? Like put the cooler more to the side more to the camera and the ohone clip in middle it probably would work i guess because the phone is huge
@@alhasyir05 yes but who know power saver maybe can make game more stable because less heat, i usually enabled power saver in my phone because no difference in performance and less heat make game more smoother
@@RioGamerZ i hear the same power saver on iphone 12 give better average fps than performances mode. I see a test with 57fps average for 10min gameplay or more in this cases on chinese channel. But for the SD888, i also see a test with underclock the cheap become good as a 865 but will consum more power. Even the opposite is also true a 865 overclock will perform same as a 888 but will consum less power. The 888 is a big down grad for gaming phone, for the moment. And 865, 865+, 870 seem to be the better spot... I'm also really interested by phone with mediatek 1200 even if they are less powerfull and consum also but they are also much much cheaper and often inside phone with the possibility to put an extension of sd card.
Can you try this with redmi k40/pro/+ version ? with or without cooler. And have you tried the performance and power usage of mi 11 with the display brightness about 10-15% ? Because I always using phone with just that brightness only
want to ask ya, if like say normal gaming just with 2k and 120hz but maybe graphic will just open medium but not at max setting at most of the game. will i still need the cooling fan? or still ok actually. thxx a lot ya.
I have mi10T pro with the same setting and blackshark funcooler. It can play with highest setting with average temp around 43-45 Celsius. But the battery will not last long. Changed to medium+60fps yes it’s really good

The video answer a few questions that i had before buying this product but there are some question that you did not give answers: a) what is the difference perfomance (fps and temp) between no cooler and cooler attached b) in the gaming session if you use an adapter to have pluged in the charger and the cooler at the same time we could see if it is reliable! c) does it worth it for all the soc? Yes but if your battery life is over in about 3 to 4 months? I game sometimes in the week-end for 6 to 8 hours, in the other days about 2 hours, so in working days i need to charge my phone twice and in the end of the week 3 to 4 times? As i said, your battery performance will be about 50% in a month or 2
@@subscriber9692 Some of us don't care about the quantity of game, we just care about the quality of the game. I personally don't mind waiting an hour for full charge too as i can do some other useful tasks in the meantime.
@@subscriber9692 Also batteries arent that inefficient to run out in 4 to 5 months. I charge my phone multiple times a day and i changed its battery like 4 years later than i bought the phone.
You are right i do charge my phone twice a day in the week-ends, i have a Lg G8, and has about 14 months, so you are right! Probably it is worth it at least in summer time when the temperature in the room is more then 25°C the phone reaches more then 45° and sometimes it becomes uncomfortable. You kind of convinced me to rethink if i need a cooler or not!

That's really big power consumption and does affect battery in long run , it is definitely sd888 problem and might be fixed if someone underpower it and do good cooling also it is funny how 5nm is supposed to give us more powerful chipset with less power consumption but we got the opposite
Using a noname, non-peltier cooler, its enough. :D The ROG one is overkill, and uses too much power. Theres a reason why they don't use peltier cooling in PCs.

There's now a thermal throttling adjustment feature in samsung labs app, you should test it out on s21 ultra and see how the performance will improve

i use black shark 3 the normal variant it is smooth i play genshin too.. with funcooler i can play more without worrying about temp
