    My favorite part is the perforated metal window screens -- beautiful design and very functional.

    What an elegant house! Curves, perforated screens, double-height spaces are absolutely beautiful and yet functional. This is a luxurious house, yet, also very restrained with perfectly proportioned interiors and gorgeous furniture.

    When at the very first seconds of the video you press the 👍🏽 button and gets to end with the plain feeling "I knew it".
    I love the approach of The Local Project giving the Architects and Builders this opportunity to actually contemplate, sense and appreciate their works, it's quite nice and rewarding for them I'd reckon.
    I particularly love the interior on this one.
    It does speak peaceful, peaceful spaceship vibes 😉👌🏽🤩

    I've never seen such an extraordinary house like this one. It is stunning! So elegant. But also I like how Mr. Rose explains everything in such a calm way. To me he seems to be elegant as well. Thanks for the video and greetings from Germany

    I love the curvature of the design and perforated screens - its such an elegant solution to the fact that house in a high-density urban environment and needs both light and privacy. The East-West axes also make these screens necessary to make it more efficient. Loved how it looks from the street! Some interior design choices were brilliant and some, i found not-so-much. But overall, it's a jewel box!

      I’m curious why are you surprised they can’t do certain things in the city do they have certain laws?

    • @research1747
      @research1747 Рік тому +1

      @@tiffanycurtis4794 They have zoning by-laws that should protect the neighborhoods from improper development - in this case it is clearly a lot that would support more density - most likely like the townhouses behind and on the left side - although single family development is appropriate in this area there could be 4 - 5 families where they have one

    I have a question, I always see some glass barrier or railing around pools, I don't really understand this as an esthetic choice (this is subjective of course). Is this a regulatory, safety, or design thing?

    • @ross_spirou_photography
      @ross_spirou_photography Рік тому +3

      In Australia, all pools are required to have a safety barrier around pools and to avoid kids drowning.

    Love when the architect is not reading from a script and is taking their time talking about the process and ALL of the rooms and designs in and around the property. Most of TLP videos feel rushed when a lot of the details of the renovation aren't touched on

    It’s nicely done but in my experience that fireplace in the middle looks nice now but is always a pain in the rear bc you always want to take it out eventually so it doesn’t break up the room and it’s hassle 🙄
