What an elegant house! Curves, perforated screens, double-height spaces are absolutely beautiful and yet functional. This is a luxurious house, yet, also very restrained with perfectly proportioned interiors and gorgeous furniture.
Gob smackingly brilliant 😮 I truly believe that Australia has the best architects in the world. The finishes are amazing, beautifully interconnected and that dappled light 💡 is brilliant ❤
When at the very first seconds of the video you press the 👍🏽 button and gets to end with the plain feeling "I knew it". I love the approach of The Local Project giving the Architects and Builders this opportunity to actually contemplate, sense and appreciate their works, it's quite nice and rewarding for them I'd reckon. I particularly love the interior on this one. It does speak peaceful, peaceful spaceship vibes 😉👌🏽🤩
This home really reflect the beauty of it. From the space, the light, the architecture really makes itself livable. Love this home! Thanks Local Project
I've never seen such an extraordinary house like this one. It is stunning! So elegant. But also I like how Mr. Rose explains everything in such a calm way. To me he seems to be elegant as well. Thanks for the video and greetings from Germany
Es una casa sorprendente en su elegancia serena; en todos los magníficos detalles, las pantallas perforadas son hermosas. Los muebles son delicados. Es una joya.
I love the curvature of the design and perforated screens - its such an elegant solution to the fact that house in a high-density urban environment and needs both light and privacy. The East-West axes also make these screens necessary to make it more efficient. Loved how it looks from the street! Some interior design choices were brilliant and some, i found not-so-much. But overall, it's a jewel box!
I have a question, I always see some glass barrier or railing around pools, I don't really understand this as an esthetic choice (this is subjective of course). Is this a regulatory, safety, or design thing?
@@tiffanycurtis4794 They have zoning by-laws that should protect the neighborhoods from improper development - in this case it is clearly a lot that would support more density - most likely like the townhouses behind and on the left side - although single family development is appropriate in this area there could be 4 - 5 families where they have one
It’s nicely done but in my experience that fireplace in the middle looks nice now but is always a pain in the rear bc you always want to take it out eventually so it doesn’t break up the room and it’s hassle 🙄
Love when the architect is not reading from a script and is taking their time talking about the process and ALL of the rooms and designs in and around the property. Most of TLP videos feel rushed when a lot of the details of the renovation aren't touched on

I've walked past this house on multiple occasions and admired it. Thanks for letting me see inside.
Our pleasure Ryan!
An architecture masterpiece, no doubt.
My favorite part is the perforated metal window screens -- beautiful design and very functional.
Yes!

The dog was so still at the start I thought it was a toy 😆beautiful house, love the use of natural light.
😄
@@TheLocalProject was this a renovation?
Luxury and minimalism blended together. Wise use of available space and natural light flow in every corner. Perfection!
Love those swiveling perforated screens.

Beautiful house! Who sings that beautiful song in the beginning?
What is the music being used at the beginning of the video?
Gracias por la realización. Es serena
Awsom to look for billion doller project ..😀
Are there no mosquitos and flies in Australia? I see that the windows don't have screens.
Fabulous
What is the BGM? Love the voice!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a question, I always see some glass barrier or railing around pools, I don't really understand this as an esthetic choice (this is subjective of course). Is this a regulatory, safety, or design thing?
In Australia, all pools are required to have a safety barrier around pools and to avoid kids drowning.
Makes sense, thank you!
why are there alwsys rails around the pools? is that a law in australia nd new zeland?
I wonder why they did not incorporated a rooftop terrace? They would have had stunning views and it would have been perfect for a sun downer 😬
do you have any house videos not connected to nature?
Neat

Everyone involved in this project is not thinking of anyone but themselves - I am surprised the city allowed it !
I’m curious why are you surprised they can’t do certain things in the city do they have certain laws?

🥰🥰🥰
…..but a gas fire in a house of this quality in 2023??!! Presumably TKD’s credentials around sustainability forgotten on this project.
The first floor does not really "respects and floats behind the landscape". It's too close to the trees.
Maybe they should spring for some fresh eggplants before the photo shoot
Why does a house have to have a name?
Beautiful🥹
Looks overly complicated
Based on the location it looks like a real disregard to planning !
I can imagine how calming to have a place like this you can call home. 💚🤍
