  • ~A collection of several trips over the last few weeks. Couldn't find a consistent bite due to the colder/rainy weather. Water temperatures dropped 15+ degrees from 74 to 58 in many places, and really turned the bite off. Also had 5"+ of rain! Still managed to catch 2 giant bass in the mix of it all. It's spring, big fish move shallow and like to bite regardless! I have much more content coming. There may be a pause in some footage until mid-June. I have some big tournaments coming up on some of my favorite lakes! Thanks for watching!
*Please don't ask where I was fishing in the comments, I won't answer you :)

That first cast was brave into the twigs and justly rewarded. Love when it works out like that.

Half the time u come out snagged, part of the game to get some bites from fish that other people won’t cast to! Thanks for watching :) i make risky casts like that all the time and sometimes it’s frustrating

I struggle to get bit on a spinner bait. You have any tips for what weather conditions or areas to fish it in?

Spinnerbait works best on warm, windy spring days. Whenever the water temperatures are ranging from 50-65, its a killer bait. Works best fishing around wood or steeper banks and rock. Cloudy or sunny days it will work. The key factor is the wind and water temps. It will work all year long. The only time i use it in the summer is during or after a heavy rain, and the water is stained up/muddy. Works best in the afternoon! If the water has more clarity, go with willow blades and a less thick skirt with natural colors. If its dirty, a thicker skirt with chartreuse or white is best. Thanks for watching!

We know where you are fishing based on the laydown, the pads, and the screaming. 😂
