I only regret I didn't teach social studies last year. I had two directioners in my class who screamed whenever the group was mentioned! Thanks guys wish I could buy you a meal. This will be really helpful with my 7th graders!

We usually listen to that song at 6th grade virtual online school in Social Studies and I didn't even expect that Mr M and Mr Parker sing the Latitude and longitude song. The orginal song was "What Makes You Beautiful" theme song from the One Direction.
my social studies teacher played this a few months ago and she thought that i would enjoy it bc i love 1d but everyone else except me loves it. i was traumatized.
Heard this song years ago in third grade for some reason "you don't know they're useful" still gets stuck in my head every once and a while. Helped me on the test tho ngl lol
Such wrong information on lines of longitude and latitude. Longitude does not measure east and west and latitude does not measure north and south....correct this information for too many youngsters will get wrong info.
+Pearl Taylor Like some of my middle school students, you seem to confuse vertical and horizontal lines with N/S and E/W directions. Latitude lines "parallels" are horizontal, but measure North and South of the Equator. Longitude lines "meridians" are vertical, but measure East and West of the Prime Meridian.
My 5 th grader failed social studies this midterm. She claimed it was because she didn’t understand latitude and longitude. Thanks for this video... now she knows how useful latitude and longitude are😂✅
