Hi! So I’m getting an iPad for my 13 year old, she’s pretty responsible for her age and does well in school so I think she deserves one. I’m that note I’m undecided between getting her the 8, the new pro and air . She loves drawing and will use it for school, looking for a long run iPad for her. Any insight what I should go for her?
As a 13 year old, I'd say go for the Air, it'll provide a lot of functionality but without setting your wallet on fire. The Air is pretty good for school/art as well (Some reviews say it's like a drawing tablet in itself)
No offence Sara, but for some unknown psychedelic reasons, this video always makes me sleep. I’m upgrading from the iPad Air 2 16gb to the iPad 8th generation. I got my iPad free from a company because I’m deaf and I have used their services for about 9 years. So they gave me a free MacBook Air 2018 edition last year and this year they offered me a secondary device which was the 8th generation iPad also free with a Bluetooth keyboard case and I’m not sure what else will be included. I say everytime I get a new iPad or iPhone that I won’t have a lot of apps on it. But I end up having way more than what I truly need. So with my new iPad I get I plan to only put the apps I use the most on it and keep my iPad Air 2 for games.

Seriously. The 8th iPad is a great iPad with the better Chip. But do you need this power on the „normal“ iPad? Idon‘t think so. I use the 7th iPad and it will work fine the next two or three years.
hello, which one should I choose? iPad air 4 or iPad 8, because the function I want to give it is simply for university use, I am going to study a master's degree in computer science engineering, take notes, read the books, surf the internet, write documents in Word, I've never had an iPad, which one should I get? thank you very much for your video by the way
The iPad Air 4th gen would be perfect for you. I have comparing the both for a while now and the air is such a good investment. You get a powerful processor, a pretty large screen, the comparability to Apple Pencil 2 and loads of other stuff. It’s also better for reading now that the screen is reflecting lesser light than the 8th gen. You also get a standard of 64GB storage compared to 32 GB

iPad air 4 is $600, iPad air 3 refurbished is $400 and a new 8th gen ipad is $300. iPad 8th gen is the best bang for buck, regardless if it visually looks old with the bezels and home button.
@16:32 no, I might NOT as well check up the iPad air, because if I need the pencil and the keyboard, the air is gonna cost me over 1100 dollars VS 600 dollars for iPad 8 gen + pencil + keyboard. It's almost double the price, so no, "might as well" isn't it at all.
I bought the 7th Gen iPad this summer and I'm really happy with it! 😊 When this gets slower I'm definietly going to upgrade to whatever iPad Air I can find in a few years. I just use it for writing and drawing and there's no need for me to invest in a Pro.

Imo i think you should go ipad pro, not only ipad pro is have the strongest chip in tablet's world for smooth experience and can run heavy duty apps and also future proof so your tablet not slowing in 3 or 4 years like any other tablets in the market. It also have good ios that best support for you note taking like "scrible" so the apple pencil have much more use than just... work like other tablet with pen that only let you doodling and nothing else. Ipad pro also have better apps and exclusive apps that you can use for profesional stuff like notability, procreate, infinity designer, lumafushion and many more. im a samsung tablet my self but since i saw ipad pro and what it can do im planning to move.
The problem with the WEbcam on Laptop is that they use an USB interface even if integrated to the laptop itself and so you are pretty limitted. On iPad the front camera use an integrated interface which can transmit data most faster.
I pair my iPad with Logitech anywhere 3 and magic keyboard. But I recommend you guys buy Logitech K380 keyboard. Switch faster between the device. I don’t like track pad using for iPad even though I own one too.
32 GB model is meant for people who use it for streaming. I know a lot of people who only bought an iPad so they can watch Netflix. 32 is enough for that. Can even carry a few movies or episodes on the flight. Probably also the go-to model for restaurants using it as a menu. So there is a market. I would have loved if Air 4 added HDR video playback. I mean with P3 color it can't do Dolby Vision. Come on Apple!

The 2018 iPad pro also has the a12chip (A12z compared to A12x) its not as much of a difference with the 2020 model. It's much better value in my opinion because you get the same stuff pretty much for 2/3rds the price It has the same 120hz display and Apple pencil 2 support aswell
@@wl200398 I do agree with you on the “value” aspect of the 2018 iPad Pro model. However, I disagree with you when it comes to purchasing a 2020 model. I think for someone that doesn’t have an iPad (like myself) at all or is considering purchasing one, the better bet would be to save and go for the brand new model. Yes, if you have a 2018 iPad Pro model or are on a tight budget and can’t squeeze out more money then yes value is important. Finding a used model is much more rare and questionable (when it comes to lifespan, efficiency etc.) than just saving extra money for the current one. If it were someone just questioning upgrading to the newest model from the previous one then yes I think they should stay with their current one and wait for a more updated version.
I've got an iPad from 2013 which I use at work (I'm a truck driver) and a few months ago it stopped charging. The iPad Air seems too much for what I want to do at work, and I'll have to shell out for a new Pencil if I want to use it for that. Hopefully it will last about 7 years like the old one did! maybe the 12th or 13th bc thats when they have another event im not sure
the 16th of october
Sydney Spessard It came out today
Sspood It still doesn’t seem to be out? I’m hopbig this Friday?
I read that it will be available for pre order on 16th October and to actually purchase the new iPad Air will be available on the 23rd October I believe. Can’t wait to get mine!
MX Anywhere series is seriously amazing, great feel and excellent nuance, even for photo editing.
I switched school and there we get an Ipad (gen 7, air gen 3 or pro (2018/2020)) with apple pencil and keyboard cover and u cant believe how hyped I am to work with that
Sara: writes neatly - "I have pretty bad handwriting"
This is so satisfying to watch, people use the softwares & tech in real life to make a living out of it. Specially when the process is this creative and output is this beautiful. Good guy Micheal!
Thank you for your review. After seeing what the iPad Air 4 had I went with a 512 GB iPad Pro 11 inch.
I got the mouse and I can't wait to get it!!! Being able to switch between my work and personal laptop is going to be clutch. Thanks!!
No offence Sara, but for some unknown psychedelic reasons, this video always makes me sleep. Except for this time around, when I actually came back from the sleep, almost in the last 3-4 mins,, just so I can share my experience. This has been my 4th endeavor, hopefully some day, I get to watch this work of yours in full entirety. 20:22 Start to End/
I got iPad Air 2019 with 256 Gb a couple of months ago and I love it! I’m still saving money for the pen. After I get that too I’ll finally be able to draw comics digitally. Been drawing with pen and paper for whole life and just planning on moving to digital for years.
Answer to title: iPad Air 2020
2019
both is nice, but 2020 version is very good lol
Shitttt I just ordered the 8th gen
I think iPad pro 2018 is better, it has almost all features of pro 2020 and is cheaper. Pro motion is really cool on a tablet.
Her: “32 gigs, like, WHAT are you gonna do with that!”
Me with iPad mini 3 (16 gigs): are you sure about that
how much is the system
LoL I have a iPad mini 2 it’s 32gigs, and I have had it for 7 years. Plus it’s easy having such few gigs for me
@@Minni07 have you experienced any sort of problem with the 32 gigs? sorry if its a bother to answer this I wanted to get one but I wasn't sure
@@oliviallau Don’t worry it’s okay lol, and no not so much I have around 4,000 photos and it’s perfectly fine. But sometimes when you want to take photos. If you don’t have enough storage it won’t let you take photos, that’s kinda the only problem. And don’t worry I answer the questions you have with no problem 😂
@@Minni07 Thank you!! You helped a lot
Added a Logitech combo touch to my 2017 10.5 iPad Pro and aside from faceid pretty much will do everything the newest iPads would do FOR ME
When I get it to restoration
2:26 At the very least, it comes with a connector so that you don't _have_ to plug it into the bottom of your iPad if you have an xtra USB to Lightning cable
I was like whole time. “Will you review that iPad or it’s a mouse video” 🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I love that he getting paint on the computer. Apple needs to show advertising like this, it shows that people are actually “using” the products.
The real movers and shakers don’t live within utopian views.
I’m in the market for a new IPAD I have a basic model. So I’m upgrading to the IPAD PRO 12.9 for 2021update. I’m a artist ( potter and sculptor and painter and about to explore digital art) do editing etc. I’m excited. Thanks for a great video
I was so excited to get the new video notification, then my battery died. Now I'm tethered to my wall charger, but totally worth it!
It’s a great choice for students! I’m actually saving up for one myself 😅
Im not good in english im a eginner but when i hear you with your voice i understand as well your channel is better way to me to try my language and see what im interessed in phones a the same time
thank you
All I could think about is how did she have enough money to buy each and every ipad
These creators make a good living off UA-cam, apparently - plus free stuff from sponsors. The mouse she has is another $80.
Rich parents so she can do tf she wants
It's an investment. The videos of those ipads earn more than the cost of the actual devices
Buying all ipads is not so expensive for Americans. Maybe a monthly salary if someone who earns good? 🙂
In my country(croatia), we don’t have a single apple store. All we have are premium resellers so their products are about 200 dollars more expensive. Apple is like really, really a luxury here.
I can't afford the air so I got the Samsung s6 lite, got it on discount for open box from best buy for about 340. Gonna get a $50 keyboard case and it's good to go
Haha! I've never bought an Apple product in my life and just happen to be shopping iPads right now, and this is exactly the info I was wondering about! Cool specs comparison! 👍👍🔥
Go and try s7 or s7 plus they are awesome NO COMPLAIN AT ALLL
@@nobigdreams6459 I love the Samsung tablets especially with the S-Pen but I can't deny there's a specific software ecosystem that only exists on a
Apple and the iPad fit the bill. This time...
iPad air 4 is $600, iPad air 3 refurbished is $400 and a new 8th gen ipad is $300. iPad 8th gen is the best bang for buck, regardless if it visually looks old with the bezels and home button.
Million-dollar idea: next-gen of apple pencil will have built-in storage that can store your notes 📝as you write
That’s absolutely genius 🤓
Thats trippy
Air 3 still top 10.5 inch (air 3) vs 10.2 inch and laminated display(air 3) along with 4.2 vs 5.0(air 3), 7 MP front camera(air 3) vs 1.2Mp and so on.
8:17 "this is a computer nooow"
It really reminds me of Kevin from the Office
@16:32 no, I might NOT as well check up the iPad air, because if I need the pencil and the keyboard, the air is gonna cost me over 1100 dollars VS 600 dollars for iPad 8 gen + pencil + keyboard. It's almost double the price, so no, "might as well" isn't it at all.
Honestly everything was all good until u put the pen to charge😂😂😂
Hello Sara nice video. Want to understand which iPad is better 8th generation or iPad Air 3? Can you pls throw some light
Loved the naming "green airpods", "blue airpods", "peach airpods" 😂
PS: loved the video too ❤️
Thank you for this video! I’m going with the iPad 10.2 in. 8th generation in the 128 GB
Every time I see “hello world” I think of coding lol good old Python.
Wes Nichol it makes me think of Java xD
C++
I charge my Apple Pencil with my iPhone while on a quick charge pad...while observing battery charge progress on my iPad 7th generation!
2:51 That's okay. Everything's fine. LOL
I bought the 7th Gen iPad this summer and I'm really happy with it! 😊 When this gets slower I'm definietly going to upgrade to whatever iPad Air I can find in a few years. I just use it for writing and drawing and there's no need for me to invest in a Pro.
4:15 did you say the iPad has 8MP front and rear camera? I thought it was 1.2MP for the front cam? 🤔😅
the best place to pick this up is like one of the shopping nets for 589 for 128gb but you get the keyboard and case to carry it and a set of headphones. great deal if you need one.💚🍏
I didn’t know about Education prices until I watched this, saved me over £70
Finally someone who darts from one subject to another fluidly I love it my mind thanks you
You helped me make my purchasing decision for 2020! Thanks! I'm going with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+!!
Euw
@@Norhairiana you mean....Awesome!!!
its a great tablet man
I would rather pick the iPad Air 3 instead because you get. louder speakers Light Weight True Tone. P3 Wide Color Gamut. Thinner Bezels. Better camera. And the price is only $469 So it’s not to expensive like the iPad Air 4
Btw I’m watching this on the iPad Air 3 I got nearly 3 months ago lol.
Sara I'm a student in medical school...should I go for the iPad pro or samsung S7plus...money is not a problem
...I will be using the tab for note taking
Gaming, reading, online businesses and I'm also a photographer but I have a dell xps 17...Pls help me choose..thank you ma
And also good luck with your medical school ☺☺
Nice job! answered my questions with a little sense of humor. I liked it.
Glad the algorithms brought me here, new sub- Peachy Dietschy!
The problem with the WEbcam on Laptop is that they use an USB interface even if integrated to the laptop itself and so you are pretty limitted. On iPad the front camera use an integrated interface which can transmit data most faster.
One like for you for actually having the iPad as shown on the thumbnail!!
I pair my iPad with Logitech anywhere 3 and magic keyboard. But I recommend you guys buy Logitech K380 keyboard. Switch faster between the device. I don’t like track pad using for iPad even though I own one too.
Sara: ooh yeah
Michael in the back: 👁👄👁
Which one? Of course the most expensive one! If you can afford...
One week Exactly til I get my iPad (Christmas)
32 GB model is meant for people who use it for streaming. I know a lot of people who only bought an iPad so they can watch Netflix. 32 is enough for that. Can even carry a few movies or episodes on the flight. Probably also the go-to model for restaurants using it as a menu. So there is a market.
I would have loved if Air 4 added HDR video playback. I mean with P3 color it can't do Dolby Vision. Come on Apple!
4:45 "All New Pear FaceTimings, new! Unlock your iNotePad Pro and hang out with your freinds via the new FaceTimings App! In color or line-draw mode for increased battery life!!" 🤪 😂
The video was long but I really enjoy till the end. Not to much complicated information for me. Thanks a lot 😊
I'm so obsessed with tech but I can't afford any of it. I'm typing on a Logitech keyboard that came bundled with a mouse connected to a thinkpad x230 lmao
I hear ya, bro
Same I’m just on an iPad Air 2 saving money for an iPad Pro 11 inch ;-;
You deserve more attention. Also I don't even like tech but you're quality and effort is super high
Your spelling of "your" is wrong. "You're" means you are.
@@numbernine8571 it’s a UA-cam comment, not a spelling bee. Get over it.
apparently, there's a new iPad Pro with mini-LED coming out so i kinda want to upgrade my 2018 Pro to that..... but still a great video!!!!
Not very soon tho the new ipad pros came out like 3-4 months ago
M but is it true?
Also you can get the education discount if you are a student
Logitech sponsors and she doesn't mention the Combo touch
That chip comparison was very helpful. I definitely need to go with the 11” pro. 👍🏻
The 2018 iPad pro also has the a12chip (A12z compared to A12x) its not as much of a difference with the 2020 model. It's much better value in my opinion because you get the same stuff pretty much for 2/3rds the price
It has the same 120hz display and Apple pencil 2 support aswell
I just want the ipad for the animation purposes
I've got an iPad from 2013 which I use at work (I'm a truck driver) and a few months ago it stopped charging. Had the charging chip replaced and they had to do the screen as well, but it's a bit janky now, so I'm getting the 8. I already have the 12" Pro and the Pencil Series 1, plus a MacBook Air I take to work if I want to do any serious writing. The iPad Air seems too much for what I want to do at work, and I'll have to shell out for a new Pencil if I want to use it for that. Hopefully it will last about 7 years like the old one did! Great review, thanks.
Sara I m getting jealous What a studio you have!!!
I want to also have that kind of studio
At least Sara makes me feel good ‘cos I just bought the iPad Pro and Air is coming.
“Only 32GB!?”
*laughs with 16*
I’m surprised how many people don’t know your pencil (1) comes with a charging cable. You don’t need to stick it in the iPad.
14:09 took me a second😂
Thanks 👍
I honestly do not care for productivity or for studying or working if my tablet has a good camera. I rather want a fast processesor so i get my work done, rather that a fine video... and so on same on my computer,,,
