Autel EVO 2 Pro - Range Test in a CE region.

- -This flight was done mostly in an uninhabited area.
-I tried to keep the altitude in relation to ground level always lower that 120m.
-The RC antennas were placed pointing to the sky, parallel with each other and perpendicular to the drone.
-The image transmission broadband was set to 20MHz, high definition.
-Visual navigation system, Radar map and Donward vision positioning were deactivated.
- The drone lost video and RC signal at 6.4kms and the RTH was activated. This was a serious mistake I did. I've should immediately stopped the aircraft when it reached the mountain plateau. As the drone continued for a few hundred more meters the mountain walls completeley obstructed the signal transmission.

Anything I can do my aircraft keeps disconnecting at 5000feet
Which is under a mile
It’s the autel evo 2 v3 meant to be able to go 15km doesn’t even go 2 without disconnecting
Beautiful location !
Goes to show that outside an urban or built up environment, the Evo 2 has an amazing range.
Obviously flying outside VLOS is not legal in most countries, but it is still an interesting test to prove some other opinions wrong..

Very impressed with the range test in this type of geographical location with many steep mou trains and cliffs and uneven and super high elevation to quickly going to several hundred feet low. For the evo 2 to get 6.5k in a mountain region is impressive 👏 to say the least. Well done and great battery timing. I own the Autel Evo 2 8k and love it so much! Happy flying, be safe and stay well.

Excellent range test at ideal altitude. You cut it fine with battery remaining. I had Evo 1 & think I'll get Evo 2.
This was a great Range test with the new EVO 2 but I see that before take off the batteries were showing only 33.56 min of flight time, I thought that this drone's battery was supposed to be 40 mins when fully charged, so I take it that they were not fully charged?
Battery was full at liftoff

So it took 32mins battery to only do 12km or so, doesn’t sound right .
Less than 28min was the total flight time. On the wayback Ive stopped a few times to take pictures
Does it allow you to switch to fcc mode or you have to use fakegps?
I did not use any fake gps. All stock configurantions in here. Even if the area where I did the flight is CE, I do not know if the drone transmitted in CE or FCC.
