@@turbotorana4336 I was brought in a generation up to eat what was put on my plate, regardless how I might not like it. The only difference with age is now If I don’t like it I say so
Just ate there 30 minutes ago and loved it. Nice and light batter, decent fish. Slightly overpriced for what I pay back home in the UK but that’s to be expected in a tourist spot.
Not surprised at all. I’ve (D) eaten at a few of his ventures, and not one of them has been remotely impressive. Glad to see you both taking on e for the team. If anyone knows their fish n chips, it’s you two. The Batman sequence was *chefs kiss* 😘
Love this the “Bazman” intro made us laugh 😂 don’t think we’ll be stopping by Ramsey’s fish and chips, although we do want to visit icon park next trip! Great vlog as always Mr&MrsThemeparkBazza ✨
Lots of expats here so if the food is good business will be good. The one near disney we reviewed was great and owned by Brits. I would sat as speciality fish and chip places only a handful
Haha enjoyed the opening sequence! Must have been a ball ache but definitely worth the effort! Thanks for the mention good buddy! GR needs to up his fish’n’chips game it seems. 🤦♂️
Loved the Batman start, so funny. Just started watching your vlogs thanks to Nick and Leigh recommendation- loving them all so far. Keep on eating them fish n chips.
Doesn’t surprise me that it was disappointing. These guys put their name to a place like that (hefty fee no doubt!) & they devise the menu but that’s about all. They’re not there cooking the food in person & rarely check back to make sure it’s up to standard. That’s what was so nice about Manchester House in the city centre, Aiden Byrne was always there behind the pass. No longer open sadly as he’s one of my favourite chefs & the food was outstanding. It’d be interesting to compare the Las Vegas Ramsey outlet to the Orlando one though. Love the vlogs both of you do, keep it up 👌🏻
I think you should set up a proper British chippy with cod, haddock etc as the fish out there always tastes a bit weird compared to over here 🇬🇧 I do love your vlogs xx I did giggle as Tim Tracker reviewed this place and loved it but what does he know about good old fashioned British fish & chips 🤣🤣
Catching up at last 😊 great review guys, not sure why you can’t get good fish in Orlando but don’t think I’d pay $17 for that portion either. Love your reviews of places outside the parks. Really useful for us fellow Brits 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Where do you recommend fish & chips in Orlando? We come from Tampa once a month or so & are always looking for the good stuff. We thought The Fish & Chip Shop in Champions Gate wasn't bad but we're Americans.
Is there anywhere in Orlando that you can get truly decent fish and chips? It was "okay" at Universal (Leaky Cauldron), similar price to Ramsay for what looks like a similar product.
Good cod. It’s like his people thought, “hmm, where do lots of Brits go? 🤔 Let’s open a chippy in Orlando!! We’ll fleece them out of their holiday cash just for the halibut...” Curry mango sauce? Isn’t that Coronation chicken without them chicken? Shame the vinegar couldn’t improve things, Bazman!
Overpriced tourist stuff capitalising on a brand name. There was a Harry Ramsdans in Morley, Leeds and next door was a Mermaid fish and chip shop. We'd shop in the Asda to the rear, then go to Mermaid, grab a take out fish and chips, then sit in the car and eat them then go home. Mermaid was always busy and eventually Ramsdans closed. Best fish and chips are family run places. Can't beat good fish, chips, mushy peas, scraps and a pickled egg or two.
@@ThemeParkBazza Give them a go. I am pretty familiar with fresh fish and chips. I live part time in Newlyn in Cornwall where we get such odd fish as skate wings, dog fish and john dory as well as the more usual suspects. IMHO Clermont Fish House would not be bettered by many in the area.
Speaking of a "Hole in the Wall" place, have you tried Chicken Guy at Disney Springs, we were impressed with our chicken sandwich after a day roaming on Disney coaches to various resorts.
@@ThemeParkBazza Another location opened recently when we were over there, in Winter Park if I recall correctly. Might be less busy than the Disney Springs one?
If authentic British food is what you are craving head to, Friar Tucks Restaurant, at Cagan Crossings Town Center, their Fish N Chips and everything else are fantastic!
We thought we'd try this last year despite what we heard. I'd already seen this video and a couple of others. Wish we'd saved our cash, it wasn't terrible but it definitely wasn't British Fish 'N' Chips. I'll stick to our local chippy 😀
I absolutely love Millers to the point I named my son Miller. You can’t beat the Thursday Prime Rib Special :-p but I’d have expected a lot more from an establishment that Gordon Ramsey puts his name against. Bit shocked with those scores. I wonder why GR would rate it in a blind fold test.
Mr Ramsey’s fish and chips was reviewed by vlogger Macmaster and this was a sit down meal in full restaurant, but it was not a big portion and was about £30. It wasn’t given that high marks. Bit overrated I think, nice vlog🙋🏻♀
People don’t understand that he’s not cooking it🤦🏻♂️ it’s one of his chains! It’s not his chefs, it’s someone learning from someone else which makes it a saturated recipe😪
We had seen a lot of very negative reviews before we went ,and I tried to make that clear we were not expecting much based on that . It was not as bad or over dramatic as some said ( throwing it in the trash can before finishing it some people) . It was typical American fish and chips which is fine , but its all marketed as authentic British Fish and chips , that's my beef
shame about this place but will still be very popular just because of the name above the door mew and wife visit ramsays places in london 3/4 times a year and they are truly stunning
This was a harsh review. I was there this weekend, and the portions are huge. Orders are made fresh to order and no heat lamps. Notwithstanding the British standard it was a good meal. They also have lobster and shrimp as large as your palm.
We have been twice to give it a second chance to judge it as it is marketed “ British Fish and Chips” and it’s far from proper British Fish and chips. If it was marketed as American fish Goujons and fries I would not have and issue. Don’t claim you are British fish and chips if you are not .
I was expecting something nice, I think the general consensus from everyone is that it’s overpriced and not that special…. As you say millers for $10 is the same
You should stick the Batman opening sequence on every vlog or just put it in occasionally I’ve watched it a couple of times awfully good .Chips looked undercooked certainly not British chip shop chips way overpriced and no sign of a battered sausage or haggis let alone white or black pudding that you would get in a Scottish chip shop .
Not even mushy peas or Chip shop gravy offered. The challenge with the Batman clip is something called copyright . What that means is once I get past 1000 subscribers and can monetize my work through ads that vlog is not eligible because it contains a song somebody else has copyright ownership of. So every vlog it appears in would not be monetized. Not a problem now but may be in the future. Same last week in the Star Wars vlog , the cantina music is copyright. That’s why I mainly use non copyright music in my vlogs.
My goodness....since when did mango curry become British....not very authentic - it didn't look very appetizing either, but good to have your review...Gordon Ramsay can do better than that...
Who can imagine Gordon Ramsey watching this shouting , "BLAND, WHAT THE **** DO THEY MEAN, BLAND". 🤣🤣🤣
