- Hey youtube fam here's another adventure in my life of being a professional wedding dj. This time we're at the Windsor Arms hotel for Keriann & Wesley. No requests for this gig because i was on the 2nd floor overlooking the crowd. So i REALLY had to read the crowd and make due with the situation. Check it out all the way to the end fam! Did you have any trouble with the wireless mic’s? Going in and out ? Considering you are far from the rest of the guest?
Nope no problems cutting out at all.. The range is pretty good on these considering they have no external antennas. The only problem I have with these mics is the handling noise but other than that these have been solid for me
@@DjNinesworld thanks so much! I am having my wedding here in 6 days and my DJ was worried about the mic’s cutting out. Any advice for us when it comes to DJing from so far?
@@pamilerinboogaards congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Would you happen to know what type of wireless microphone he’s going to use? If anything I would suggest raising the receiver higher so it’s line of sight with the handheld. Tell him to scan for the best frequency when he gets there and also to come early to do a sound check. Now there are alot of other different factors(brand of microphone, frequency range, 2.4ghz, bodies in the way or sometimes even cellphone interferences…etc) that contribute to cutting in & out of wireless microphones. Generally speaking if he’s using a Shure or a Sennheiser microphone he should be ok. I wouldn’t trust any other brands to be honest. If anything if he wants he can also rent a wireless microphone from long & mcquade as a back up and for piece of mind for you. Hope everything works out!
