Ozzy's voice is being played through a spinning speaker called a 'Leslie Speaker' and then recorded through a standard mic. That's what gives it the 'warbling' effect.
The one low key song on that album and from the first side of the legendary Paranoid album. From it try Electric Funeral, a jolt to your senses after this packs tune. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶
The real secret of being a great band is dynamics. There needs to be a balance of heavy and light either in a song, or on an album. This is the third song on the Paranoid album, it follows Paranoid and precedes Iron Man, the flow from heavy to light and back to a heavy song is more impactful and makes the album one of the best of all time. Examples of Black Sabbath dynamics in a single song would be "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" or "Symptom of the Universe" both are amazing songs partly due to the dynamics.
It's Alright sung by drummer Bill Ward from Technical Ecstasy are another great different Black Sabbath song. You could call it Black Sabbath does Beatles
One of my favorite songs from Black Sabbath…
One of the coolest songs EVER !
This song makes me wanna do mushrooms and live in a hippie commune.

Tony Iommi is an excellent jazz guitarist (besides being the great riffmaster).

Check out the Cover Versions of this Song !
You got to listen to Pantera's cover of this song. It's very good. Maybe even better than the original.
@The Wolf HunterZ - Please... Keep monologuing over the song. Its what we all came here to see =D
Pantera's version is much better
I agree... I seen them do it live sooo gooood
Eh. Original still gets the nod, because the "better" version never happens without the original. 🤷♂️
Stupid comment
Wait of course I love the original... But the Pantera version is really good
@@franzheuer1966 If I should clarify that it is from my point of view, is it not a stupid comment anymore? 🤷🏼♂️
