We bought an Uppababy vista secondhand when I was pregnant with our third. Our 4th is 8 months old and it’s been the BEST! Our oldest is only 5, so we got the piggyback and love how versatile the stroller has been! Secondhand is an excellent option for families not wanting to spend the whole wad. Good Buy Gear is an awesome site if you’re looking for open box or secondhand!
I’ve seen the Jool baby magnetic cabinet locks work well and it’s basically invisible from the outside of the cabinets! The device is on the inside and unlocks on the outside with a magnet. They sell them at Target!
thanks for sharing these ! i am on my third baby .. but between my second & third baby i got rid of everything thinking we were done (surprise lol) so i love hearing what new things are out or what other people use. i pretty much used the same things between my first and second because they were both girls & so close in age. but this time around we are buying new so i loved your newborn & this haul. thank you!!
For our cabinets, our child locks are ones that are opened by a magnet on the outside. Completely invisible! There is a piece that gets put on the inside (with double sided tape) that holds the door closed.) Super easy to keep them on and unlock the inner mechanism when you don't want it locked anymore, but don't want to uninstall them!
I’d stay away from the magnet ones, they’re super annoying and can be hard to find sometimes when trying to open. The clip ones are great in my opinion!
Loving this age! My girl will be 10mo soon. For cabinets with my first baby I never child proofed them. There are cabinets she can get in and the ones she can’t I just taught her the boundaries and it worked out fine. My toddler has always had a drawer in the kitchen at her level with all her cups, lids plates, bowls, utensils and straws so she can get them herself. Sometimes baby proofing can be a little over the top imo. 😅 My 2yo can help me unload the dishwasher basically since she started walking, I think having boundaries in the kitchen but also freedom to help has been great for us!
We skipped the “sippy cup” and went straight to the OXO Tot Transitions straw cup. I didn’t know how to teach her to use it at first, but I just let her practice and as she ate from pouches more that transferred well to the cup. Now she has it down! I love it- very leak proof, sturdy, has handles for her to hold. We just use that one and practice with an open cup sometimes too.
Same for us on the sippy cup - skipped it - went to straw. Have a 3yr and 1yr old and am using the Contigo cups. The most leakproof straw cup (not water bottle) I’ve been able to find that can be dropped, thrown, etc.
Do I have kids? No. Will I have them in the near future? No. Did I watch this whole video and enjoy it so much? Yes 🥰💕
get the magnetic cabinet locks and we love the Dr browns straw sippy cup
Yes please do a travels favorite! I loved your travel vlog in Florida! ❤️
Munchkin straw cups worked for us 😊
Dr browns straw cups!! My daughter would not take a sippy, and went to these straw cups easy!

Get a slumber pod for traveling! Top 10 baby items in my opinion. You’ll use it for all your kids. So worth it!
