- Here is what fixed my scuf controller not being detected on fortnite.
1: uninstall iCUE and the xbox controller/scuf audio in device manager.
restart.
2. install drivers from www.corsair.com/us/en/s/downl...
by going to the drop down and choosing controllers.
restart .
3. install icue and restart your computer again.
4. see if you have an extra 360 controller showing up on device manager and press the guide button until you disable the scuf. when the scuf is disabled you will enable it once again. the other controller must be disabled for good WHILE you are using the scuf envision pro.
(For me i believe the second controller is my wooting 60 he keyboard.)
restart after disabling the correct controller.
5. get on the game that hasn't been detected. it should work.
6. now you can go on icue and map your controller with macros/ keyboard functions etc.
I hope i helped. I know the video is not edited but i want to get this out fast to help someone in need.

Thanks for helping me out. I tried to overclock the controller and it somehow failed and got my drivers messed up. Glad your video helped me out. Kind greetings from germany!
yeah its max 1000hz. i wish there was an 8k hz controller. thats the next step i guess. @scufgamingtv if we could get a controller that didn't have mechanical lever switches or whatever theyre called and get some lasers in there and 8khz polling rate that would be a game changer. i'd pay a lot for it.
So every time you turn your pc on do you have to redo steps for oc?
no ive done some research and some guy made tests on the scuv envision pro which showed its already at max 1000 and cant be overclocked anymore. so ppl who actually manage to do it are having a placebo@@ypyah
@@ypyah no u cant overclock it. Its already at max, someone tested it and made a youtube video on it. Its a placebo ppl have when „overclocking“ the scuf envision pro.

Does anyone know why the Scuf envision would not be compatible with the Arctis 7x Steel Series Headset? I tested the headset with a different controller and it detected the mic and worked perfectly fine. However, when I plug in the mic to the Envision Pro, I have audio but it does not detect the microphone. Any suggestions?

Hello, i got my envision like 1 month and now i want to play something with the controller and the controller doesnt power on, i tried reset the controller and everything but it wont be detected by windows ?

sounds like you need to return the controller, exchange it or send it in for repair.

i just built a new pc today and the method definitely works. if none of these things work for you it may be a separate issue and if you figure it out feel free to inform in the comments.
So as of today i followed these steps. restarting after each step is a must.
if your computer takes long to restart that may be the issue. you may have a harddrive and cpu fault.
uninstall icue and the envision drivers. (if you have the drivers)
1.disable the extra controller in device manager.
restart
2. install scuf envision drivers from corsairs website.
restart
3. install icue
restart
4. as a test i get on fortnite and try to press lb and rb to switch through the menus
if you can switch buttons in the menus you are good to go
5. get on icue and remap your controller to your liking.
6.enjoy.

how do i disable the controllers
My ICUE software crashes sometimes mid game. Any fix?
you can't have the app maximized in the background. i suggest getting a second monitor and leaving it in the background on that monitor. if it is in the background while your game is full screen it causes issues. as for it crashing sometimes it happens. if it isn't happening then enjoy your time. but if it happens every match then you have a problem. let me know i'll try to help you.
On device manager i dont have the 2 xbox devices or scuf audio, and i can see the controller is connected to ICUE but will not work in game. Any fix bro?

you have to get the drivers. you may have to contact microsoft support in order to get the drivers because i was searching for another viewer for hours and couldn't find it. but i think he had a short in his controller and it wasn't turning on at all. you might have to force update. uninstall everything and do the process again.
@@gonr just downloaded the controlled driver from Corsair direct and didn’t even need to uninstall anything. What a weird way to have to set it all up ffs

Bought a Scuf Envision Pro - never works. Mappings randomly work during Warzone. Movement responsiveness seems slow, unsure if Legion Pro 7 or controller.
you have to use the hardware mappings. sometimes you need to open icue for it to work. the new update makes you have to delete all your mappings and remap. the pc binds dont work well that happened to me alot too.
@@gonr Thanks, yeah saw this on a video as well. Only issue is hardware mappings do not allow keyboard binding.
Interesting because my software iCUE when I try to update the controller it's saids "update failed" so maybe that's what I am mssing
Same for me I’m losing my mind. Have you fixed it? Mine will stop working randomly and my keyboard input will show too which makes me have to restart the game everytime
@@mraaronrox what I did to fix it is I completely uninstalled ICUE from my computer like everything every file from ICUE and reinstalled it and fixed itself

hi, my envision is not recognized by my computer, when I input with cable or with wireless receiver, and after doing all the steps in your videos... What can I do ? I do not see my controller in the perih manager !!
Make sure you uninstall everything in device manager related to scuf or xbox controller. Reset your computer. Uninstall icue. Reset your computer. Install the drivers from corsairs website. Reset your computer. Install icue. Reset your computer. Go into device manager scroll all the way down to the bottom and you will find two xbox controllers. You need to figure out which one is the scuf and disable the other controller. It is not labeled it is a ghost controller which is a mimic of your controller. You disable the controller in device manager. Restart your computer. If you chose the right controller you should be able to navigate the menus in fortnite or call of duty for example. If you chose the wrong controller enable the controller you initially disabled. Disable the other controller. Restart your computer and test it on a game. Make sure you keep the controller wired and in wired mode the entire time. Once you complete everything you may attempt wireless afterward.

If the lights dont turn on when you plug it in try to download the drivers for windows xbox 360 controller peripherals if not send it in for repair or return/exchange it. I witnessed a faulty controller last night its not worth the headache. Make sure your computer meets the specifications to install windows 11 as well because my hypothesis is since this is a new controller technology everything should be dated on your computer.
@@gonr thank you. I got it to work but the controller is very uncomfortable for me. I’ve always used controllers with back buttons not paddles. I just can’t see myself getting used to this sadly. I’ll hit them up with an email to see if I can return. I hope
@@elijnr yeah controller sucks i bought it in hopes that maybe i could get back to playing controller. unless you are the best controller player in the world i don't recommend it just get a mouse and keyboard with high polling rates.

i don't think they feel there is anything wrong with it. it's meant to be fully custom. it feels cheap tbh. i just play mouse and key anyway. just wanted a nice controller and it failed me all around.

the controllers werent made well tbh. i have issues with a paddle being stuck unless i press it a certain way. i just stick to mouse and keyboard now. your best bet is to return it or exchange it for a new one.

Hey man, great video. When I try to download the controller drivers off the corsair website, the download always gets an error. Is there a way around this?
Make sure you have any rgb apps like armoury crate etc closed msi afterburner has to be turned off when installing icue software. Is it an old pc? If so you may need to upgrade. I need to know more about your setup and what you have installed in order to further assist you.
Also try to find the drivers and uninstall them in device manager. Find as much corsair and scuf and xbox controller related drivers in device manager as you can and uninstall it. Restart the process by installing the drivers first.

In conclusion I would not recommend this controller after downloading Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The game recommends using a controller so you can kick back and play. I was told to press RB to climb walls in the tutorial for the game I just purchased and whenever I press RB it just pauses the game. I can most definitely get it to work with time but it should just work out the box. P.S icue disappeared off my computer today after an update. I can't make this up.
