I don’t agree, they have a the task of making a new game. It’s already a remaster so do you expect them to just put new graphics and copy the og game? No, the #1 concern in the past cods other than hackers, has been a lack of new content. The game has become stale and they want to try something memorable. They doubled down in the beta to see if people would like the changes, but it’s a beta, no one’s payed for it so they have little obligation to completely do what everyone asks. If they just did what people wanted with no new testing then no new changes would ever be made, and the game would never progress.

Back in MW3 I never used dead silence even in SnD, because only players with expensive headsets could listen the foodsteps which weren’t really loud, preferred using Stalker because of the movement.

They need a separate minimap for respawn modes and no respawn modes. Searching out the gunfire makes sense in s&d when people move slow, sure no dots. Searching out gunfire when everyone is running and shooting doesn’t work.
I support the fact that you can't shoot and won't show on the map it's realistic and makes it fun and that more challenging using the audio to find who's shooting wherr
At the very least there should be a directional cue on the mini map. So when a shot is fired, it'll show the general direction of the shot instead of a dot. It's not the dot, so it's not the best fix, but if they really don't want to "punish" players, this is a rough middle ground
I think the sound of footsteps is actually good this time If your running you sound like you sound like a stampeding elephant (makes sense with the operator wearing that heavy gear) but if you slow it down to a walk being more "tactical" you'll be quiet and enemies are less likely to hear you. That's just been my gaming experience with the new mw2 mp. But this is the same issue with every cod when they first come out is footstep sounds and the mini map
What i hate the most is you can barely see enemies sometimes like they blend in too well and and theres like no name plates unless they are like 2 feet away from u lol annoying af ngl

It's not like they don't have over 10 years of evidence that they don't need to reinvent this mini map mechanic. It promotes camping and safe spaces. This is infinity Ward making the same game as Modern Warfare 2019, so they do all this unnecessary reinvention to traditional mechanics.
The ability to have Ghost, without sacrificing combat potential, is what throws the entire perk system into disarray. Once stopping power was removed, ghost became an almost unanimous insta-pick in every game. There needs to be a significant trade off for choosing ghost over anything else, otherwise nothing else can really be done. I'd honestly like to see them try out Ghost as a field upgrade instead 👀

this exactly, the cod4 perk 2 slot is the most balanced perk selection in the history of call of duty as a whole
