    Regarding tip #3, does this include the amount of time needed to read the question? Usually it takes me at least 20-40 seconds to absorb the Q before doing the logical breakdown/prethinking

      No, the 30 seconds does not include the time spent reading the passage, for verbal questions with passages. So you want to spend 30 seconds on the question itself, not necessarily the passage.

    Hi! Thanks for the video. I have a question though - since you shared max. time limits for various types of questions, doesn't that break Rule 1 itself (wherein we keep a track of time for blocks of questions)? How does one make sure we're not hitting the maximum permissible time for each question?
    I find myself getting lost in a particular question, and end up hitting more than 3 minutes a couple of times in both the sections... This is something I'm struggling with currently.

    It gets confusing for me because the timer in GMAT is a reverse countdown

      Yes, it can be confusing so we definitely recommend that you practice your pacing strategies well! ⏲💛
