- It's time to make the rounds down in Los Angeles, and we couldn't have asked for a better couple of days! We get to go back to Nerdville to pick up a 1957 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop from Joe's main man Rick, snag an early 60's Les Paul SG and a Junior from a Mastering engineer, and finally, deliver a beautiful 1952 "Blacktop" Les Paul (refinished by Tyler Geske) to our dear friend Mason Stoops! The guy who is filming and doing the cut and the music is a genius
agreed, super well edited !!!
I've said it before, but your video guy is a genius with shots, cuts, edits, soundtrack....
Please please keep making these guitar collection story videos, they’re awesome. Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
Saw stoops in Portland with Marcus Mumford. So freaking good
Another great film....cheers guys
Wow!! The blacktop is drool worthy.
I love love love those guitars. The painted black is a rocking beast! Thanks guys. Your the best!
Still no word on the entire soundtrack? I’m obsessed ECG!!!! Lol
That fade in from the street to in the room was magical.
Love videos like these guys
Inspirational stuff… and watched too! Sweet Gee..

Your positivity and overall humble vibe is contagious. Also whoever is running the camera, cut and edit is legit 🍻
Love the hat! Representing Filson!
This guy has the coolest job!
Enjoyed this, cheerz!!
Ahhhhh love you guys at ECG!! Missing Seattle! Keep up the awesome work, Trev & Co!!
what a trip!!!!!!! thanks!!!!!!!!
Man that looked like a great time. Hopefully next time I come to your shop I can bring a guitar home. Gotta save some money first.
Hey Trev, looks like fun!
Great soundtrack.
Watching this video from France 🇫🇷. Men, I loved it! Great guitars 🎸 ! Very dynamic video. Congrats dudes!
Extra cool music in this vid...well done
love these vids😄
This gave me skateboarding vibes for some odd reason lol good stuff as always ❤
Skateboards and guitars let’s gooo
Question at 3:17. I'm gonna say the handle is actually leather. The light greenish/lighter color being exposed is the inner chromium tanned portion of the leather.
As the outer dyed portion of the leather wears more of the center is exposed (which remains light colored as the dye does not penetrate all the way through the leather).
On his channel Rose Anvil has explained these properties of leather.
youtube deep cuts
Besides green i have also seen white and pink ?
Awesome trip! 😎
Love your videos!!
now that's a "Roadtrip"
What is that soundtrack?? So good!
That 52 is so perfect
I've heard that green color comes from copper pigments Gibson used in the day. Turns green as it oxidizing
That's the paint. They were talking about the handle on the case.
cool vid i do have a epiphone 2011 Bonomassa LP standard with burstbuckers2/3
which is a cross between a 57 darkback goldtop and a 1959 standard
and i have a Lazarus set up by Dave Neeley and the bonomassa 1962 ES 335 that 57 goldtop is nice. at least $50,000
Really, really dig the positivity on this channel.
I’d definitely stay in sunny LA vs Seattle
names of background music please
The carve on the black Les Paul looked really arched. Did they cut them deeper in the early days?
Many of the "golden era" les pauls have a deep carve making a dish. Its something that was lacking on reissues for a long time, its been increased with current reissues but again hand sanded dish back then as it is now so there is no concrete numer, only Gibson with all the 3d scans could properly determine what the real average is :)
dat 52 comfort carve
What is the name of this background at the beginning of this vid, please?
Anyone know that jazz tune at 6:25?
Emerald City Guitars, will u guys please list the soundtrack songs in this video it’s great shit!
Your stuff's better than Norm's.
Name of the last song on the video?
What song is that intro?
was that Serj T as the potential buyer?
Wait what, since when do you guys have an LA showroom?
You deliver Mason Stoops a guitar like that, and you don't film him playing it!
You guys have a store in La too or is that someone’s crib?
($40k for that SG 🥴)
I'm a little confused, you guys have a decked out showroom in LA just waiting around for local clients? That can't be cheap!
there's a video about the venture
Watches.. not watched although I did watch it. Did I mention watch?😅
Average players priced out of the vintage market as millionaire's hob nob.
Do what the nashville plaYers do. buy one thats been repaired or refinned for way less money
@@johnsmith-bk4psHard to find man. Even people with extreme player grade examples want huge premiums because “ReLiCeD”
great video.. just wish it wasn't so dark so we could see the guitars better.
Ty for wearing a hat to cover that baldamassa head. The lights blinded me from the glare off your chrome dome. Baldamassa
Has that black top got a belly cut?
The "market"?!
He reminds me of Taylor Hawkins in the 90s. 😢
Every track in this video isn’t recognized by any identifiers I have which makes me believe it’s some AI generated BS or something from the UA-cam creator thing. Sorry folks
Guitars… *rich people doing rich people stuff skip skip skip skip… watch the guitars part
Joe dumpted it, worst out of 20 guitars
Man, this big time bragging really got under my skin. Guitars as another luxury item you should own? This used to be about music and stories about instruments...
Its still is and wat u whining about? This is a guitar shop channel it’s a business
StopNonVideo I felt the same way. Right or wrong I didn't like it for some reason. It's ruined it for me.
@@metroecco7908 yeah look at the watches, the ferrari… the way it is represented with those cool dudes in this video just kills me.
@@StopNonVideo Social media has created a monster - everyone is branding and showing off. New money = in your face
@@StopNonVideo are you actually upset that people who can't even afford to consider taking a legendary model Ferrari around the block... are admiring it through a window from the street?
My god that is sad.
