My mortgage was $250 p/week which allowed me to save to invest further and spend on improvements. Now the price has doubled and has allowed me to invest in additional homes, it’s turned out well in my case I think.
This doesn't work at all in Victoria due to land taxes. Many doing this strategy now being forced to dump into a falling market.
