- MTB long jump of doom - Public bike park edition! I asked the riders Twisted Oaks bikepark to a game of long jump and it was wild, crashes, near misses, fails and big wins this was the best day ever! Would you send it?
The crowd was hyped and the riders were loving it on this beautiful sunny day at Twisted oAKS BIKEPARK, SO I thought we should have a long jump of doom challenge to see who can jump the further out of the whole riding spot! With the MTBhopper ramp set up, it was time to keep moving the gap further and further until it got to far to jump! I was riding my Canyon Spectral enduro bike but was it possible for me to beat the kids and win??

I mean they knew Sam would get much better footage, but hopefully it was cause they were enjoying the moment. Think about if you were at a concert that was being filmed, would you still take video during the concert?...an interesting question...oh why thank you...don't mention it

I was a cycling instructor for many years and I used to love the fun of days like these. It brought back good memories and made me smile nice one.
This is one hell of an ad for the mtb hopper ramp Lite lmao. Reall considering getting one myself just for screwing around and sending it FAR. This really does just inspire confidence in you, knowing that that sort of distance is possible on such a small and robust ramp.

That really was epic! How on earth did the boys get so high and so far? That blew my mind. Awesome video Sam. I don't think my little ramps will give me that kind of boost, they are fun for little bomby sessions in the front yard though, then I just store them in the study when finished. The mini bike dude was awesome!
I used to do this kind of thing when I was young. ( I'm 42 now ) Brings back some good and funny memories. I remember snapping the front fork once. They certainly make the bikes stronger these days 😂. Brilliant video 👍

Riding mountain bikes used to be my favorite activity. Then I developed some back issues and went to recumbents. Just had both hips replaced 2 years ago and haven't been riding anything. I'm glad to see sam is encouraging young riders. Ride on✊️😎

Was a bit nostalgic watching that, as this is exactly what we all did as kids in the late 70's/early 80's growing up in south London with no bike parks etc. A milk crate, half a scaffold board and a squashed coke can as a marker and every type of completely inappropriate bike you can think of had a go, everything from Raleigh Grifters and early BMX's, to an old butchers delivery bike with a giant basket on the front! No suspension, barely any brakes and most didn't even have tread on the tyres. It's honestly no wonder my shoulders and knees sound like bags of gravel these days lol!
