Yes, I believe upgrading to a higher Ryzen CPU could result in more FPS in Fortnite. Fortnite is quite CPU-dependent, so a more powerful processor could better handle the game's demands and provide a smoother experience, even with the RTX 4060. Something like the 5800X3D would be a great option if you're staying on the AM4 platform
@@matt-tu8tp Yeah, it's unfortunate that there's no X3D option with a lower TDP for older motherboards like the A320. If you're still on that platform, upgrading to the 5800X3D would definitely be a game-changer for Fortnite, especially since it's so CPU-intensive. It’s one of the best CPUs for gaming on AM4. Hope you get the chance to upgrade soon!

A good PC for starters depends on your budget and the types of games you want to play or tasks you want to perform. This setup provides a great balance between performance and cost, allowing you to play most modern games at 1080p with decent settings. If you share more details about your budget or needs, I can help refine the recommendation further!"
@@Clayton_tiktok With a $1500 budget, you can build a PC that delivers excellent performance for gaming, streaming, or other tasks. Here’s an optimized build: CPU AMD Ryzen 5 7600 or Intel Core i5-13600K - Great for gaming and multitasking. (If you want an upgrade path, go for the Ryzen 5 7600 and AM5 platform.) GPU NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti or AMD RX 6700 XT - Both are excellent for 1080p and 1440p gaming with high FPS and modern features like ray tracing. RAM 16GB DDR5 (5200-6000MHz) - For AMD Ryzen 7000 or Intel 13th Gen processors. (If DDR5 is too expensive, DDR4 is fine for an Intel build with a compatible motherboard.) Storage 1TB NVMe SSD (e.g., WD Black SN770 or Samsung 970 Evo Plus) - Fast load times and plenty of space. Motherboard AMD Build: MSI B650M Mortar or ASUS TUF Gaming B650M. Intel Build: MSI Pro B660M-A or ASUS Prime B760M. PSU (Power Supply) 650W-750W 80+ Gold (e.g., Corsair RM650x or Seasonic Focus GX-650) - Reliable and efficient. Case Choose a mid-tower case with good airflow, like the NZXT H510 Flow or Cooler Master TD500 Mesh. Cooling CPU Cooler: Ryzen 5 7600 comes with a Wraith Stealth cooler, but upgrading to a budget cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 or a liquid cooler is a good idea. Intel CPUs like the i5-13600K will need a separate cooler.

Both the Ryzen 9 7900X3D and Ryzen 7 7800X3D are great for Fortnite, but the Ryzen 7 7800X3D might actually be the better choice specifically for gaming.
