We have two jeep grand cherokee wk2 first overland 2013 of release engine 3.6 mileage at the moment 500,000 miles! Only scheduled maintenance from major breakdowns of the automatic transmission and that's it.
I would like to note a very hardy chassis and generally high off-road durability!

It's my dream to someday own a 2015-2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit just like this one I love this Exterior color and interior color it's perfect except mine would have the 5.7 liter V8 Hemi and mine would have the rear entertainment system if I can find one with it if not then as long as it has all the options I won't complain lol

Good luck it's worth it! I got one a few days back and probably overpaid for it as I got from dealer. Out the door $33500 45000 miles. The day before I kept saying over and over to myself I was nuts getting from dealer and paying extra. I went ahead though because I wanted to trade an old worthless car and have them do all the transfer paperwork for me. I wanted a part finance deal and get my credit up and had been turned down a couple of years ago when I tried through my bank. As they were a Jeep dealer I felt confident they would not sell to me if something was obviously wrong with it. Plus it was the v8 hemi which was my dream engine for the Summit. So yeh I paid over the odds maybe by $5000 compared to private but the whole experience was hassle free, the dealer even let me drive it home BEFORE I'd paid the deposit in full as I'd forgotten my check book(didn't realize max of $5000 allowed by card). He dropped round my house 30 mins later and picked up the check. I've already updated the u connect radio to 18.45.01 which was 'interesting' but worked first time. Maybe maps next well see I dot use GPS much for local runs. For anyone setting their sights on the summit you won't regret it. I feel like I'm in a luxury rental and it has way more safety and luxury options than I even dreamed existed. I could almost do a review myself but will wait till I have at least a couple thousand more miles on it. Once again good luck it's a fantastic car let alone suv.
Florida Life wow congrats!!! 🥳 sounds like it was all worth it! The hemi v8 tbh makes it all worth it if your happy w it then that’s all it matters. W pandemic and recession going on I’m sure a lot of people will be liquidizing some vehicles as well as rental companies in the upcoming years. I’m still currently driving my 07 jgc laredo 4wd V6 limited I rolled her off the lot used it was a rental I believe w 18K miles back in 2009 and she currently has 179K and still runs strong! The v8 hemi was also my dream engine if I find the right deal package I will jump on it no doubt but I’m also ok w the V6 if the price is right. Ya some of the features you get w that model is just ridiculous and I’m ok w that! Lol may I ask what year was your jeep? I love all of the features including the option of lowering or raising it for off road including the front headlights pressure washer the led flashlight on the rear and panoramic sunroof and much more! Again huge congrats! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 in 24 months hopefully I will also be driving my dream suv time is on my side!⏳

That steering wheel wood is actually *TOO DAMN GRIPPY!* I hate it. My palm always ends up catching it after a turn. Thinking about having the lacquer ground down.
They changed that on the 2018 models. I just published a video of a RAM with the same type of steering wheel and it is much less grippy.

This is not AWD it is 4WD. It is RWD only until it needs 4WD. If you talk to a dealer they may be able to delete the 4wd option.
Just don’t buy the Diesel version, the engine has a major design flaw that causes the main bearings to spin, even if you use the correct Fiat spec oil to schedule, my 2019 GC Summit just shit itself with just 55000 miles and regular servicing.

+Nobunaga Oda No the SRT does not have the adjustable ride height like the Summit. The SRT is not 4wd it is awd.
4WD is capable of heavy duty off road use... especially the 4WD low setting.
AWD is for street and highway use and may be able to handle some offroad use but nothing as robust as 4WD.

Jeep went cheap on the brakes. This vehicle is very heavy and should have Brembo brakes as standard equipment.

Juho Pentti, it's a 2017..it's got the revised front fascia and updated wheels. This 2017 however did not come equipped with optional laguna leather interior...

don't buy the 2017 jeep grand cherokee summit with the leather signature series white Diamond cut. it's a piece of crap leather. it fell apart after 200 miles of driving. it is very poorly made its disgusting . the cushion where you sit on buckles and comes off the seat and it gets worse and worse. the back part literally came off the seat itself. u can pull on it like it's dead skin literally coming off. waste of 65000 dollars waste of 500 dollars of interior you can't enjoy and show off. it's embarrassing very embarrassing
+Skender Pervizaj One thing that comes to mind is that it isn't a $500 option. It is a $4500 option to upgrade the leather to the premium signature leather option. That is but one reason I have a good feeling you're a liar. The other reason is that if it occurred after 200 miles Jeep would fix it and if you had all those problems there would be many others with at least one of those problems. I searched and you're the ONLY one having these "problems". In other words, stop being a little troll.
P.S. One last reason, I optioned my Summit with to the signature leather and 27,874 miles later I haven't had a single problem with it.

@@bobalobalie i have had a look at this model year (and younger) and many of them have bad leather - both on the driver’s seat and centre armrest. Sometimes the dashboard leather has deteriorated to the point where it’s come loose. Very disappointing for a vehicle at this price.
