- Nobody cannot beat Mohammed Rafi, but as a tribute, I have uploaded my rendition of the famous song: O Duniya Ke Rakhwale.

Pretty good. Particularly when you hit the higher notes your voice becomes even better tonal quality wise. Person has to be a one in a 10 million to be able to hit all the ranges of registers with the tonal quality like Rafi had. Besides Rafi also had something nobody had, which was his ability to fairly quickly adapt to different styles to suit different needs of composers of his time+a good sense of the visual art(movies) to produce voice(s) to suit the scene. All those qualities in a single person is extremely rare, hence we don't get see his kind of vocal brilliance anymore because it would a be big ask to expect such brilliance all the time. Such accident happens only once in a millennium. Fair bit of credits do go the brilliant composers of his days that used the creative vibes of that era(50's to 70's) and used brilliant vocalists like Rafi to the core of his ability to produce what they created in their heads to materialize vocally via Rafi(Particularly Naushad which used Rafi more than anybody else n his music). The other thing is that Rafi got better as his voice matured and acquired more training and inspiration from the world around him as well as composers of his time. So, we can confidently say at the time of his demise, we probably saw him at his peak of vocal capacity and range. But, who knows, considering how rare his vocal range was, he probably could've gotten better all the way to his octogenarian years. One thing is certain. He left us way way too early. He had already done so much out of his short life beyond any average Joe's comprehension, but it was a loss for the listeners of true music to lose him too soon. Most people who loved his music would've gladly given ten years of their life to keep him on the earth for another ten years, had it been possible.
