That doesn't happen anymore since Title 42 was lifted. If people weren't being vetted then how would Trump know who's trying to enter the US? He says that they're all criminals, escaped mental patients and terrorists. If they weren't being vetted how would he know? Dershowitz is such an egomaniac he would write a book about which hot dogs taste best if he thought he would get some attention. He lives knowing he has lost the friendship and respect of 95% of his friends and many of his relatives along with exposure in any responsible and respectable medium including tv networks, major cable networks, magazines, invitations to speak at law schools, synagogues, etc. He is justifiably regarded as a pariah and at age 85 he will go to his grave still babbling "I'm right, everyone else is wrong."

Since when do all 12 need to vote not guilty. I thought all 12 were only needed to convict. They are always innocent until proven guilty.
WRONG! It only takes ONE juror to consistently vote "not guilty." The other 12 (or 9 or whatever) can be staunch "guilty" votes, but if any one juror say's NO, then it's NO! (It's called a "hung jury" when that happens.) For a civil trial, and assuming you even have a jury, the standards are more relaxed where a simply majority might be the verdict. But for a _criminal_ trial, the standards are much harder. You are indeed "not guilty" until you are legally pronounced "guilty". You should also try and understand the difference between _not guilty_ and _innocent_ too -- NOT exactly the same thing! (Maybe ask OJ Simpson now that works.)
