Do it a unique colour everyone likes the escort van so maybe that colour (cream / beige)
@@Tdevil86 The bodykit is a bit shady so I'd go for a dark metallic, something like Magenta red to hide the crapness, I'd also look at 6 spoke alloys. Standard RS2000 badges. A lot of filler and a face mask.
My mate Barry up in Aylesbury built a very similar car back in the max power days, had a yellow interior with the rear seats removed and a big sub box in the box, same colour red on some 5 spoke momos, not the arrows that everyone loved the ones after that were quite slab faced on comparison. Thing was a built show car he used everyday and was kept immaculate always. His was built on a mk5 xr3i chassis
You can’t go wrong with a nice rep, I think most 3dr escorts ended up being converted to replicas over the years. Very fine line between a good and bad one usually though lol

Just a tip, snow foam is used as a pre none contact wash to loosen dirt and grime before pressure washing it off. What you did here was damage the paintwork. Good luck with the build!
Oh yeh, I wouldn’t usually do it like that but the paintwork/bodywork is shot anyway and I just wanted to clean it up abit to assess just how bad it was under the grime lol certainly wouldn’t be doing that on a car with decent paint!

Had mixed comments on the Ken block design, most have said just to paint it so I’m abit torn now if I’m honest 🤔
Makes me wont to rally up my 106 gti not bothered about bucket seats roll cage, just won't to get the engine faster! Need fast road cams, bigger injectors light weight flywheel, better clutch plate, would go down the turbo route but very expensive, & seems a risk to push boost into the engine without forging it first witch is very expensive! With my heavy foot would blow it up! Love older cars as most modern car seem 2 round looking! You going to keep the escort red?
Engine work isn’t cheap that’s for sure, you can sometimes find a forged engine for sale cheaper though, but it’s always a risk buying a engine you know nothing about… I’m not to sure what il be doing with this car colour wise just yet, from the comments so far I think most people would prefer it to stay one painted colour rather than wrapped, but god knows what colour il go with it at this stage

I won’t be converting this car I’m afraid, I just don’t have the funds for that or the time while I’m building my other car. Really and truely I don’t have the time or funds for this build but I couldn’t not buy it when it came up lol

Happy new year buddy!! I was thinking about putting a full interior back in and making it a proper road car again but it’s so hard finding good trim now and it’s soo expensive these days, in hindsight I wish I never sold all the interior I had in the black escort now lol

People are more likely to want a cosworth, or atleast a imitation cosworth in reality unfortunately, it would be cool to put it back to standard but not many people would buy a ticket to win it I don’t think, a wrc rep is more appealing
