@@PrestigeWorldWidePWW We went right as Covid was hitting, so there weren't any restrictions for Americans at that time. Soon after, Japan became totally closed to all tourists, and is still closed according to government websites. Not sure if there are any exceptions, but hopefully it will reopen fully soon.
Great report just adding, The single seat chair lift, affectionally know as The Pizza box.... live music at the Half Note with the beer reasonably priced.... The indoor climbing wall with great café and bar... I too often choose to go out of gate 4 rather than hike to the top out of Gate 3... The Onsen at the Prince hotel the men side you can watch what's happening on the slopes.
Perfect video at nine minutes looks great editor great sounds great well done mate hoping to get to niseko this March to experience stuff in this video
When filming myself, I'm almost always using a 360 camera with invisible selfie stick. In this video, I had the selfie stick attached to my ski pole or backpack. Now, I sometimes attach the selfie stick to my helmet. When filming others, I sometimes have one of those extra long invisible selfie sticks that provide a drone-like shot. Hope that helps!
For the skiing, it was a combination of holding a 360 camera and invisible selfie stick in one hand with the ski, or alternatively attaching the selfie stick to the ski pole itself. For the boarder footage, that was me following with the 360 camera. This shows the methods for the self-filmed footage, though no helmet attachment was used in this Niseko video: ua-cam.com/video/fhU9Z9lhzQs/v-deo.html
Thanks! Great question. I actually only own that one pair of skis. I've been thinking of getting another pair, but then the issue is traveling with both or guessing which will be best for a given trip. For now, if it's clearly going to be a deep powder day, I may rent.
We go Niseko in Feb every year from 2016 to 2020 before the travel restrictions… Miss Niseko so much
That's awesome. Tough to beat the snow and the culture. Someday when the restrictions are gone, have to go back!
What are the travel restrictions?

Thanks! I hope you get there - looks like they're having a great snow year already.
@@SkiBoyNY. only snowboarded a few times thought I’d go to Grand Hirafu & do a lesson before a few days on the mtn, any tips or recommendations?
cool trip man
That is a cool video, thanks
Thanks! Hope you make it there to experience Japan skiing!
Those are Hi-Chew candy in North America. And yes..... its a great chewy tasty candy !!
Is this the April Niseko season or the december - Feb Niseko season
This was late February, and it was a season with little snow compared to a typical February. So great snow for the U.S. or Europe, but not for Japan.
Just wondering, whats your camera set up while skiing?

Oh thought you show us night clubs, hot springs or explain the slope marking easy, medium, difficult 🤷♂️
Those are great ideas for a Part 2 video!
Yes, we call it "apres-ski". Also I wonder do they have slopes for sledding? For people (my wife) who are not skiing nor boarding?
How is the camera following you as you ski?
