Seems like a lot of Hokkaido is low angle glades. It looks fun as hell, but not a lot of steeps. You are correct though I can ride way stepper stuff, faster, with a lot of powder.
@@ejhayes76 To be honest, I suck on the non-steep stuff. It is way to hard. Steep and fast is the way to go. It is amazing how fast one can actually go and still be in control. Have a happy holidays.
Furano is cold. Much colder than Niseko. It averages about 8 meters of snow a winter whilst Niseko up to Kiroro and Kokusai along the Nakayama mountain range averages 12-14m. Furano is better for back country touring in my opinion but it’s definitely not a powder mountain secret. You spent two thirds of the video stuck in trees. Furano is not great for tree skiing. Different type of trees grow there.
I am on the way to Furano! I super hyped!! Thxs for the video!
recommendations like this i like, youtube !
Great video mate 🔥
Thanks for sharing! I would love to visit Japan some day and shred at Furano!!!
Great video! I wish I had your skills in the trees !
Maybe I will have the chance to say hello to you and your mates next japanuary.
Those trees look fairly well spaced out and forgiving if you bump them.
Siiiickkkkk
Sick pow day!
so good
was this late 23 you went there or earlier? we might head up that way shortly
Hows the Gentemstick man? Im about to get a chaser HP for Japan in Jan!
Which part of furano in this video?
Furano side or Kitanomine side?
In future vids could you stand in the run and give the viewers something to reference the steepness of the slope
Isn't it still mostly closed in Furano?
This was last season. Will be back there in a couple weeks though!
that's some deep pow. How do you like the Gentemstick? Have you ridden Moss snowsticks?
Nice video!! Similar style to my channel so nice to see 🤙
Not steep enough in my opinion. You will be amazed of how fast you can ride in powder.
