I freakin love the part at 2:18 with the two set of lyrics. One playing in your left ear, the other playing in the right, and the end of the two verses both say “You’ll find your flame” in sync. It was a very good idea

to be honest since this is a final boss version this feels like sonic is slowly losing his grip of control like lets say he. absorb more corruption from defeating titans and then faint or smth then this would be a cliff hanger for a sonic game while leaving you wondering.
tbh i was expecting something magistral for the final boss in the game after all the build up they were giving us until that point, and while the feelings with the music and the monologue was there. I think they chose the worse posible way to make the gameplay for that battle for obvious reasons. After the amazing fights with the first 3 titans the final boss was building up to be the magnus opus of final bosses in Sonic games, yet it became the worse of all of them lol.

I WISH was the final boss theme.
It’s sounds like a bad ending song that’s slowing turning good. The bad endings could be based on how you did on previous islands maybe having some form of time limit for each island rating your performance but the base game is too easy so maybe add a fourth difficulty that is a massive step up from “hard” so that the player doesn’t breeze through the islands and never hear the masterpiece play
