Surprise Lake Jan 2017 attemp

Super Jeep and the Green Chevy attempt to reach Surprise lake in the Carbon River Valley Washington. At around 4200 FT elevation the snow was just to sugary to make reasonable forward process. With only a 3/8 mile to go this was down right depressing. After Googling just how close we made it I wish we would have old schooled it, that is, just winch. From the video you will see that would have been faster. A quick calculation says 15 pulls and we would have been to the top.

Beautiful scenery there. Hope to check it one day. I love that Superjeep chugs along while you deflate. That's classic! Superjeep is awesome and you do very nice work.
