In a previous vlog you were having a dilemma re looking for new content. You just found amazing content -- local flavor of the streets. You’re so easy-going and friendly so the locals reciprocate. Another interesting video!
You see When you explore the side streets (carinderias, turo-turo, small bakeries), you'll realize how much you can save so much if you eat in those areas! Your vlogs never fail to amuse me. You have no idea how good you are, don't you? 😊🎉👏👏👏👏
South Cembo has plenty to offer. When I was staying in Madison Park West, I used to come here at least 3-4 times a week for fresh affordable fruit & vegetables, bakery, laundry and inasal food. There's another a great beef pares carinderia at the gate to BGC junction.
More like of this ..now your doing what the viewers like to watch..just listen to your viewers skills of making and editing videos is not enough if you dont connect into your viewers...Goodluck brother...followers since your first vlog about Philippines
Helo, Chairman..it's good to see you interact with the locals. Esp with the area where you do your vlogging. That's what real filipino community. The locals will surely love you with this. More contents to go. Salute.
Enjoyed another blog of yours. Brave again to try those local street food and carinderia. It’s nice that you are so brave to be walking on those streets. Stay safe though…
Love your content Jonathan hope to meet up with you soon my wife and l will be staying in Manila on 21 October 2023 been watching you for quite some time 2or 3 years 😂
I agree with the other comments of you vlogging like when you just arrived. That made me subscribe then because you went to Tondo ( which I haven’t been to even if I’m a Filipino) and you mingled with the locals. I also love how those children were excited talking to you. Reminds me of when I was young. Always supporting you by not skipping ads even if it’s long.😀 Just watched an iPhone 15 ad.
So tell us, which food stall you tried was the best? You should try visiting the Bicol region too. You can take the plane but the long drive is also an adventure.
Pitogo and other nearby barangays are now part of Taguig and no longer part of Makati. It’s an interesting topic how the transfer has been happening. :)
I like this type of vlog. I like seeing the side streets of manila and to see the everyday life of Filipinos. I also like that you try to pronounce Filipino words...but please learn how to pronounce it properly. How about having a vlog series where you learn how to speak Tagalog? It would be a fun series to watch.
Lot's of good food there. Will have to check it out next time I visit. Maybe a good idea to starve all day and go out and binge in the night haha. Thanks for the vid!
Rediscovering how local family low income everyday lives yes pal support small business..done watching i really enjoyed your video ..because i can see happy face enjoying vlogging while you in the Philippines.. watching from Baguio🌲
Loved every second of this vlog ❤️👍 Exploring the untapped gem of Manila, where other foreigners don't go or don't know. Hope you keep on finding these treasures 🙏
I worked in BGC before. But I didn’t know this area. I could have saved lots of money😅😅😅. My go to place back then is 7/11 or fastfood restaurants like Jollibee.
Omg! You are just in front of my aunt’s house which is near the coffee vendor! Too bad I was not able too see you during you street food escapade in south cembo and pitogo!😩
Filipino kids learn English mostly because of youtube. I’m surprised about my 4yo niece’s English skills. We talk to her in Filipino so she won’t forget her language.
In the area where you leave there are many BPOs around the area specially in Uptown Towers, there is alos JP Morgan. You ca interview call center agents fir you content. I’ve seen you once inside the mall on the 4th floor. You can also go to the edge of BGC at Kalayaan and you can find so many carinderias and cheap but delicious Filipino food.
suggest you learn our language for easy interacting with the locals. some locals can understand english but having a hard time expressing themselves that's why some of them shy away from foreigners. some foreigners mistook it as being snob or indifferent.
@@randomvideos4023millennials yung karamihan na ganyan pero mga kabataan ngayon grabe na yung influence sa western culture galing na mag english eh parang first language na hahaha kita mo yung video yung mga batang babae
corporate areas in the Philippines are like nice balloons lying on top of the mud. most of the people you see and who services those balloons lives in that mud. also if you don't mind the surroundings, it's cheaper to live there.
I KNOW YOURE A BASKETBALL ENTHUSIAST, THIS EVENING AT 8PM PHILIPPINES WILL PLAY WITH JORDAN FOR ASIAD CHAMPIONSHIP, YOU CAN TRY TO VLOG IT BUT DONT SHOW THE GAME BECAUSE ITS PROHIBITED JUST THE ACTUAL SCORE.
Dollar bill 🎶 Dollar Bill 🎶 hahahahaha Wow he’s a Blink 😂🤣 #Blackpink This vlog is so entertaining, so much happening in one video The kids are so cute too 😅
Mergim when I do have time to read some comments, I see you have new viewers. I just wonder why the old viewers don’t comment anymore. Do they still watch you or maybe have gotten tired of your vlogs? I’m still here though 😂
I love this type of vllog. So raw and shows the ordinary life in the Philippines. Make more of this, please. 😊

Good day Chairman......love the recent local adventure in BGC...
Enjoy our cheap street food mergim.... 👍😊
The side streets of Pitogo is where the real party is at! This is where the typical Filipino working class lives, who probably works at BGC. ❤👍
Thanks for the vlog mate flying there on the 9th and planning to explore Makati and BGC 👏 😮
I liked seeing you interacting with locals, you're friendly communication skills something i should learn😎
Mergim, the first bread is a Hopia Baboy, the 2nd one i am not sure, i think the 3rd one is Ensaymada
You need to try La Paz Batchoy next time. Believe me, it's so good. It's a soupy noodle dish originating in Iloilo.
Only in the Philippines Mate! welcome back
Enjoyed another blog of yours. Brave again to try those local street food and carinderia. It’s nice that you are so brave to be walking on those streets. Stay safe though…
I love your new style of vlogging! Loved the one where you rode "suicide" in a jeepney and this one is great as well. Keep it up!

So tell us, which food stall you tried was the best? You should try visiting the Bicol region too. You can take the plane but the long drive is also an adventure.
Wow .
So easy to go to and from BGC .
🎉
People think Thailand is cheap. In Manila you can have a full meal with unlimited refills for 35 US cents.
I love this video. I love to see white cowboys eating local street food.
Let's see if Mergim finds his way back to BGC.
i love these kind of content!!!! great job and more to come.
good man, Mergim. showing what it means to get the 'real' Manila experience. these foreigners staying in BGC don't know what they're missing
Mergim Really Represents BGC Lifestyle
Pitogo and other nearby barangays are now part of Taguig and no longer part of Makati. It’s an interesting topic how the transfer has been happening. :)
Not skipping adds for you!
You have a lot of ads.
Pitogo is not in Makati anymore. It has been placed under the jurisdiction of Taguig City by the Supreme Court just recently.

Just so you thought you already knew BGC but you did not knew there were hidden passages or warp zones like in Mario or legend of Zelda 😄

Your BGC world just opened up a bit.
Great vlog Mr M the real phili 😊 2.5 months to go and we will be back 👍
You should have also sprinkled calamansi on your siomai, most people here do that, otherwise, the flavor is too strong.
Hello Chairman have a nice weekend ahead😊❤
I believe Brgy. Pitogo is now part of Taguig..
Love this vlog ❤❤❤
Love this content makes me hungry!😊

After work, I go there because easy to commute and fast going to train station than riding BGC bus.
Hello. You said it’s near grand hayat? I’ll see and figure it out . Asking coz I will be going home next month and staying in one uptown residence.. 😃
Nak ride the tricycle going tu tulay ( Guadalupe market) the little Divisoria for only 30 pesos. Then there's the mrt. Then back to bgc, say butas.
Pasig river water, the ice cubes are made from.
How come you cant take a video there. These security guards have their own rules...
local food eateries, not restaurants, are called karinderia, ka-rin-de-ri-ya
Ensaymada is the bread with margarine, sugar that you said you had before

Awesome vlog.
I love how foreigners can just speak english here in the Philippines and everyone can basically speak English.😂
Collab with Nelly, she's back in the Philippines 🤗👍
Can you tell me the name of the basketball gym or the exact location?
Explore that area some more, maybe you can find some more good food
BBQ pork for P25 is just right price.
Mga P45 coffee sa hindi stalls are OVERPRICED. Kalevel na yung mga may sariling stalls at nag babayad ng rent
this is commonly called "butas" by us BGC workers
Good afternoon Mergim 👍🥰
Am surprised you dont know La Paz Batchoy. Youve been in Iloilo City. Thats famous there. Maybe you just forgot...
🎉🥳 better than shopping malls and condos 😴
Mergim when I do have time to read some comments, I see you have new viewers. I just wonder why the old viewers don’t comment anymore. Do they still watch you or maybe have gotten tired of your vlogs? I’m still here though 😂
most vloggers have less views now, maybe because almost all are back working in the office/onsite. ofcourse, less time to access the internet.
I’m still an old viewer and liked Mergim vlogs❤
13:34 dollar bills dollar bills lisa is shaking
