You just gave me a wonderful idea for list making. I always try to assign specific tasks or projects for each specific day. But just having a list of items and getting to choose which item you do each day might be more fruitful. What happens is, if I don't get every specific tasks done listed for that day, I feel like I have failed, even if I have gotten many other things done that weren't on the list. I will try your method next week.

A little tip on the nighttime driving hours: we started out at twilight and it would be dark by the time we got back. That way our new driver wasn’t driving in the full dark at first.

You have a beautiful family and extending for making your home welcoming to the extended family which it will, will always be a blessing. We had 5 children whom grew up to be amazing adults and although we are still in the family home which is big, now that we are retiring we are not down sizing as always have so many people here and always want a place where they can come to stay if need be.
Christmas tree night is always so squashy with over 25 in the lounge room so that will be wonderful to have more space.
Fabulous video. David is amazing making his own Filo pastry. Good birthday dessert choice and so wonderful big brother steps up to make it. Safe driving to Gabriel. We have had grandchildren with us all day. They and their parents come back here after church most Sundays and usually the girls help me make breakfast. Pancakes is a an oft requested favourite. Gluten free and dairy free and the girls love tossing them. Such a blessing that they all live so close to us. I just love how all the older children adore the baby, such a close family.

Well as much as I enjoyed the pantry challange it was so good to see the work outside and so many things y’all are up to. You inspire this old woman to be better. I have to say when I see Spidy on here and Instagram it tickles me. I have a Grandson that loves spidy and has costumes from 3 yr old to 8 ur old. My daughter sends pics of him sitting on the porch in his attire. Or riding in the car in all his Spidy best. So seeing your guy just makes me so happy. Hope y’all have a great week.

I don’t know if you remember but I sent the kids Turkish delights about a year back, I actually really wanted to send baklava but couldn’t be 100% certain that the vegan baklava I found was in fact vegan, so I stuck with the delights. Anyways, it’s awesome you guys made baklava and you made it with pistachios! In most regions in Turkey we eat baklavas with pistachios❤

Self diagnosed. Now that I have been careful for so many years I can eat some Spelt or Red fife bread once or twice a week. But I mostly stick with meat, eggs & veg with a bit of fruit. Very interesting - thank you! I do make baklava and use the store bought. We are blessed with honey as we host bees for a local bee-keeper and our gift at the end of the season beyond have wonderful honey bees in the garden, is a bounty of honey, so, use the honey when making the baklava. It is so quick and easy and I have taught mini classes for friends to take out the fear of the working with baklava - I celebrate your son's work to make from scratch. Also, I often make meals with rice and I can not eat rice - it gives me a very similar affect as food poisoning - and by making meals with rice - I too enjoy doing so for my family. So, I understand your desire to make food for your family even though you do not eat it. Thank you again.

I'm Greek and we simmer for just a bit the sugar water and add cinnamon and cloves to either the walnuts or pistachios. Would love to learn more about the GAPS diet. My nephew has Crohn's Disease and gets an infusion every 8 weeks. He's allergic to most of the medications, so he's on a weaker med and has been working hard on his diet, but still suffers a lot.

What are the leg warmer type things on Hannah's legs? Purpose? And did you make them? Just curious.
I don't like wearing leggings on her because we often deal with cloth diaper leaks. A onesie and leg warmers keep her warm and then we don't deal with pants getting wet around the diaper area.

Grain free is good. I don't need to but I think it's a good idea squashes are abundant. It's it possible to make sun butter? Do you grow them? Is the whole process too hard? I don't have a lot of exposure to it but like it. Is there a brand or quality to look for?

We are hoping construction will be done by the end of April and then we can create a temporary patio for the summer kitchen. We won't begin work on the addition for another year or so.
