A SURPRISE TREAT in COEUR D'ALENE // RVing I-84 West to the coast! SO PRETTY! Ep 45

In this episode, we explore downtown Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and then we head further west for a stay in Boardman, Oregon! Then we take the gorgeous interstate 84 along the Columbia River into Portland and a one night stay in Washington!
We just happened to visit Coeur d'Alene during a boat festival on the floating boardwalk. It was a really cool experience seeing all of those unique boats! We walked around the downtown area, had dinner, and then let the kids play on the awesome playground at McEuen Park.
We then headed to Boardman Oregon, where we had the first of two river view campsites in a row! The scenery at this campground was really something to talk about. The kids enjoyed playing on the playground there as well! We had pizza and beer at Burnt Field Brewing, and that was also really good. It was a short but great stay!
Lastly, we made the drive through Portland into Washington, and it was beautiful! Our campground wasn't one of our favorites, but it happens. It was only a night and we will head into Seaside, Oregon to start our trek down the west coast in the next episode!!

- RAVENWOOD RV RESORT - Athol, ID (VERY close to Silverwood/Boulder Beach, very clean, beautiful landscaping - we didn't use any amenities)
- BOARDMAN MARINA & RV PARK - Boardman, OR (beautiful)
- SKAMOKAWA VISTA PARK CAMPGROUND - Skamokawa, WA (would not recommend a river view, due to the abundance of stickers on the ground and huge ships passing through the night blaring horns in the fog)
